Denied, the author hasn't request something like that.

the authors don't care about their threads it seems, and now i see only spam (including me)

you have to be more active and see whats going on.

hope you know what you're doing not only you i mean all the staff (you are the most active about this stuff) i'm saying exactly the opposite but before i meant that you can do better.

i'm just annoyed by the fact that we try to help them (the authors of those threads) and they don't give a damn.

I don't know if you consider this as a spam but i want to make myself clear.

No I don't consider what you said as spam, but we let authors to request first a lock, once their topic's subject is answered. (Say thanks or something that proves that it's fixed).
