Help Resolution problem (Assasin 418)

I'm encountering actually a problem that the client im currently using (418 - Assasin) doesn't allow to some players to set up their resolution up to 1920x1080 as it's their default windows one.

Some of them can see the option but when they click it doesn't do anything (goes back to "Basic Resolution") and to some players which normally are laptop users doesn't even appear this option even though their Windows resolution is 1920x1080 they can see only 1440x810 or 1280x720.

 

This is a big problem for some users as they will see basically all the UI huge instead of seeing it normally, have to say that resolution problems are not present in normal monitors as they can just have as 'main' their 1920 resolution even though if they would try to switch it, the game just wouldn't allow and go back to their 'Basic Resolution'

 

I have been trying during weeks to actually figure out this, i already tried if it was an Interface problem by trying with vanilla ones but it doesn't seem being the problem. Also i tried in other servers with the same protocol as mine but they don't seem having any resolution problem.

Never had this issue. They can change their resolution manually by editing option.ini

Yep, but they're working on a server which is gonna reach a bunch of players, so that'd be kinda not practical, i've been trying to help them solve that problem myself for a bit, but sadly i'm not too experienced with interfaces as to be able to fix that, it's a really weird issue :l

it has to be a issue with some graphic drivers or anti virus software. (or Win11??)

Nah, it happens to a lot of people in different devices, in various OS. Plus they don't seem to have that problem in other servers of the same protocol, so it's weird AF, i'm guessing it's a really stupid problem to fix tho

I had this issue when the first loggable system was released. I changed to a more recent one and it stopped doing that.

ig use the most recent shared system?

yes if im correct they are still using 418. and they already had some minor patches for this protocol.
