sotid Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 So I added a triple sonic slash xml/grp as a new skill with same grp same xml and when I do the skill he does the movement of the attack but there is no animation. What can causes that and how do I fix it?

Also some ingame photos you cant see much but is something:Dhttps://ibb.co/cBO6nJ And a small detail I already have some other custom skills just 1 id down and below (7097/96/95 etc) that work properly so I dont think is an id problem.You know sometimes high ids mess up some skills but I think is over 10k not sure. SillverShadow Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 try changing the green areas on your skillgrp see if that produces results check the cast style of similar skill try changing the is magic part to 1 and try other ani char values from similar skills ( dont think that's gonna be it but still give it a go ) btw does the original show the animation? and if yes why not just edit that xD i have not used interlude client and not that pack either but in h5 this is what my skills look like after ani_char there is the skill id of the skill animation it is supposed to show
sotid Posted July 1, 2018 Author Posted July 1, 2018 (edited) So I tried changing all the greens but nothing worked and in the end I added the "desc" id of a monster skill with similar animation(Npc sonic blaster :4573) cause neither of the Triple sonic slash or sonic blaster has an "desc" and it worked finally . If there is another way to fix that so I can use other ids too that dont have desc I would like to know. But why are the original skills work without "desc" and the custom with same lines of grp and xml dont work?(I wonder). Thanks for your answer , problem solved:) Edited July 1, 2018 by sotid
SillverShadow Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 (edited) there are experts on this forum that may know the answer to those questions, i am not one of them but still glad i could help :) in the desc of your new skills you can just put the ID of the original skill you want to show and it should work even if the original has nothing in desc. But skills that dont have it where do they read their animations from? order:you can see it more clear in silver's post. Dash:desc=skill.mo.4 Sonic Blaster:desc=blank Any custom skill's animation works for me if I add a desc value that exists. Edited July 4, 2018 by sotid

Do you know why example : Sonic blaster works with blank desc value and custom skill with same grp ,animation dont work? This rar , are the values of the animation but I dont understand what to do with them. Also my problem is solved as I said earlier if you want you can message me for further discussion so we dont spam :) i think its because its hardcoded in interlude as some skills dont need to have a skill usk value and you can look through that rar to see what classes there are so you can use it for a new skill that already exists
