Help Intellij Idea Debug Server

Hello, was wondering if someone could lay a short guidance tutorial, how to launch not remote debug but a like Eclipse one.

What do I mean by that: I want to run server on IDEA and apply direct java code on gameserver. (Like Eclipse debug mode).

I dont know how debug works in eclipse, but following settings allow you to start gameserver on your own, attach to the process and then do all the stuff eclipse can do and more:

 

 

You need to put  -agentlib:jdwp=transport=dt_shmem,server=y,suspend=n,address=5012 just before java in your startGameServer.bat

I don't believe anyone has done this before. Personally I am not familiar with IDEA, I've tried it once on PHP and I really hated it. But the process of going debug mode for live editing of the code is basically standard so you should have no problem If you find another tutorial from a different project on IDEA

This should allow you to Debug your project and use breakpoints, Hot Swap of the Classes etc

Thank you, the problem is, that when starting, VM can't find main class (GameServer), i was wondering what can cause that.
