I have this argument with my friends , that's why I create this poll to see your opinions too. Talking about Interlude server with no custom equipments , my opinion is that players prefer 100% blessed scrolls (to max enchant or to a specific limit anyway) but my friends say that they would prefer something like 60% normall scrolls , 70% blessed scrolls(which means it would be difficult to see many people with max enchant). Now that I am thinking it better , with these enchants rates , servers would propably last much longer than the others with 100% scrolls. But would players like it? Tell your opinion guys!

PS: About normal scrolls it really doesn't matter here.

PS2: Also max enchant really doesn't matter but let's say MaxEnchant = 16.

bless scroll is much better.

Why?
Players won't get mad if they brake 99999+ weapons / armors.

Enchant 1 item with bews is much faster, better, IMO.

If I wanted to have +6 arcana mace vs 40% of server players with +16 arcana mace I would play in 20x server not in 2000x server :)

 

Since I'm in a 2000x server i prefer to have the same gear as my enemy (other ways is just pointless in joining pvp server if ur going to have basic gear vs ++ since there will be no change of winning even vs total noob )

There is no point in such poll's as you will not get more than 10 votes in total. Understand one thing, create the server you want, not server as people want. Period.

 

Bless 100% is waste of time to farm it, it's better if you simply give them max + from start for free. Get real people.

Too much logic for this forum to handle.

 

 

To the OP - you have to start considering what is the point at which you meet redundancy in your system. 

 

If you give 100% enchant scrolls of any kind, then the time limit to max++ is determined only by how hard it is to obtain those scrolls. If it's easy, then you might as well award max++ items for just making a character.

 

On the flip side, descretisized systems are easier to balance. So if any scroll is 100% chance then it is easier to balance the rate of obtaining max++ items by calibrating access to those scrolls (like drop %, shop price, event frequency, etc) and not have to worry what the chance of gaining a +1 is. 

 

I would go for 100% if the scrolls are rare. I would just do what SweeTs says if you plan to make the scrolls abundant and 100% success - there is no point in delaying with farm, it won't increase you server life by any amount worth mentioning because people will be just busy farming and not PvPing. Your friends likely have a completely different idea on the hierarchy of items drops/access than you do, so IMO that is something you need to discuss before making a decision.

You can put what ever you want 70% or 80% if you want to people stay or server be longer all you need to do is "no enchant limit" see a lot of servers(old) who have success just doing that, and obviously theres need to be a "dificult" to obtain those.

I would like to introduce that i have found a method to avoid league hwid ban ( van 152 ) you will get perma ban when detected only at the account you are using like before vanguard release with the method you can script or use the tools you want at many accs as you wish unstoppable without caring about headache or wasting time and energy of flashing bios reset your pc installing fresh windows and using spoofer to change your hardware infos to unlock the hwid ban i have tested it on 5 accs i got them perma banned for using third party tools but not a hwid ban at all hint : ppl regulary get hwid ban in 2nd ban after got banned once before as vanguard working like that only 1 chance free then hwid ban. its so easy to achieve if you are interested dm for details

    • Customs being added to systextures/animation/texture influences the increase in virtual ram by a very small amount, which means you won't have a headache in the future with critical error issues, unless it's a dubious custom, there are 2 custom weapon packs available for H5 that are "compromised", they didn't make a very good adaptation, one of the packages is the weapons from the goddess of destruction for H5, another is the hero weapons from the goddess of destruction for H5, avoid these customs for your H5 server if you see it on any forum.   Now coming back to your question; one thing that the NCSoft developers never did was add files to their system, probably because they were aware of what could happen when doing that, now think about one thing: the game's system retail itself is no more than 70MB, every time there was an update made by NCSoft they always added the equipment/items/cloaks etc. in their folders intended for that, so why do we do this? I still have my client containing a system with almost 1GB, 1-2h online is the time I can stay online before the ram memory limit, but I have already redone my entire client with customs being destined for textures/systexture/animations, almost all the customs that I had on that client containing a 1GB system I have on my current server, with the difference that I removed everything from the system and critical error is now nothing more than legends, my current server has a total of 220MB in the system folder And theoretically speaking, based on what I've seen, especially on many forums, I believe that the heavier the system folder is, the faster we accelerate the consumption of the client's virtual ram memory, causing countless different types of critical error in one short period of time, in many forums that I've seen on topics involving critical, the solution that stands out the most is about downloading a new clean "system"
    • Do you think that everything on the system is loaded regardless if you use it or not ? or even worst, are they loaded even if they exist as textures/meshes but not defined on the DAT files ?
