Removing Spam Section would be the worst move/scenario of your thought. 

 

True, Also forum is still alive due to Spam Section... If he will remove it will not have any activity in general Purposes

Plus you got to offer something more attractive as it comes to VIP/Donate Zone. Like I said, special competitions with Keys for games for VIP/Donate members would be an option. Last but not least, Sports should have a separate and unique board.
