I have seen this lately

they die in-battle

Revived and teleport again so they can kill or gang in a near ward or minion

and with revive ok you can revive yourself and go again on fight but death is a death.

with barrier or flash you can escape w/o die.

I think smokeboy is talking about revive/tp on karthus,ignite and barrier are both useless on karthus* and if you are not up against an assassin you should definately get revive/tp,it gives you a second chance in a maybe lost teamfight,now if you're up against assassins like katarina or akali i would get flash exhaust.

 

Also revive/tp is useless on any champion other than karthus.
