@pauler i have a problem with database_installer  and this error occurs on the CMD : το συστημα δεν ειναι σε θεση να εντοπισει την καθορισμενη διαδρομη δισκου

 

this is my  mySQL path : set mysqlBinPath=C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.5\bin

 

i have installed the 5.5 version like in the path  but the program is installed in Aρχεια Εφαρμογων (χ86) i dont know but is the error possible to b caused by this or am i wrong? & do i have to create database named l2jpes in the navicat? or it will be created automaticaly? please help!

This means you have a 64bit system and installed a 32bit mysql version. Either reinstall a 64bit version and dont change the sql path in the installer or just change the sql path.

Try to (re)install jdk.

thanks i will reinstal and inform you ,i think the problem is i have an older version of jdk ...

 

jdk have to do nothing with mysql you dont have enviroment variables setted.

links does not work but i downloaded the 7u25 x64  and i'll inform you when i test

 

To be honest, abandon whatever you do, since you can't even download a simple program from the given link.. You must "Accept License Agreement" in order to download  :troll:

And now imagine yourself in our spot where we would do a change to maven(i know i know dont go there :D ) but we cant because people would not be able to understand even the most detailed guides.

Imagine how i felt when i wrote in the guide checkout the trunk and convert each project to a maven project and the outcome on user side was: checkout trunk itself and convert the trunk folder to maven project. I alredy brought up the idea of maven to Pauler but its a hard decision(no secret i would like to separate the pack into dp,core,ls,commons,commons-network,scripts,parent).
