Install/Create custom skins for your champions! (Free skins, u dont have to pay)

Hello there,

Today I will show you how to either install or create custom skins for your champions!

First, we need to download 2 programs.

 

1)Paint.net

2)SIU

 

With SIU(Skin Installer Ultimate), we will be able to download the files of each champion, such as: Skin,skills,etc. Also, the use of this program can let you to download and install already custom skins from someone who shared it on internet.

 

Anyway, let's get started.

 

After having downloaded+installed SIU, open it and let it update.

After the update you will be here:

 

 

Now press at =Skin Creation= and then expand the 'model' by clicking on the:

 

Choose the champion which you want to create a custom skin for it.. **I will choose Ashe, because I like her as a champion..**

 

(You should check the box, and then you should press on: Export checked files to computer directory)

 

And it will something like this:

 

Now, after doing all these steps you will have a new folder in your desktop called: 'Data'. Open it and you will find a folder called characters.. open this as well and then you will find a folder with the name of the champion which you selected on SIU. (For me it's Ashe)

 

Open the folder, and you will find some .dds,.skl,.skn  files. We will only need to make changes on .dds so we can change colors, add text on the skins.

 

Now.. drag the BASE .dds file(for the base skin) **If you don't know which is it, drag all the .dds files in paint.net and find the correct one** and you will see it's colors, textures,etc. Since you can see them, you can make changes on them. Start drawing, changing colors or remodel the textures.

 

After finishing with the drawing.. you should save the file and DRAG it on SIU. It will ask you if you want just to move this file and continue adding it in database or continue dragging more files in the program. (Choose the first one in your case)

 

Then it will ask you to put a name, you may just hit enter or put a custom name. After putting a name you will be redirected to =install existing skin=.. mark your skin and then press: Install. Then you it will show you which skin should be replaced with .. leave as it is(base skin) just press okay.

 

Now you can open League of Legends and see your custom skin! :)

 

**THAT WAS THE DRAWING/CREATING YOUR OWN SKIN PART**

 

NOW:

 

If you want to download custom skins through the web.. you can simply download them and use SIU to install the .dds files of this custom skin! :) As simple as that.

P.S: The skin is only shown to you and the people who have the same files with you. Also if someone picks a champion which you have a custom skin on it, he will appear to YOU only with your custom skin.
