Add Sound To Custom Npc

OnaHa

Recommended Posts

Hello! I try to add some custom NPCs with sound, like when they move, attack and etc... I know, that all that sounds are just sound files + *.u scripts, so if anybody knows, how to do that, help-help-help ^^,

If that can be done using only ukx, tell me how...

If anyone knows he will answer you dont you worry.

Just be patient if you still don't get your answer just ask for lock.

I wish I can help you but I have lack of knowledge at these.

So keep waiting..

That's all I can say.

nice forum: everybody knows, but don't tell

You can add sound via ukx if you have the unreal editor that actually saves ukx's properly so that it is useable by l2 (there is a sound section for each animation)

Can you not spam every thread without knowing anything or providing valid info?

sound embedded within UKX is

1: easier

2: cleaner

3: smaller in size and in amount of files

Anim notify sound for each animation

You edit which frame the sound starts at and usually sound volume should be 150-300

Sounds are taken from the 'sound' tab above and you need to import the sound effects to a file name that is the same as your ukx (like how you can embed textures in your ukx)

Like when it asks you to import, the file name should be the same as your ukx (in my case Munch_apc)
