[diss] Thinking to open a L2 H5 project

Hi guys,

 

I've bought a pack, which is still under development but it works fine if You ask me.

It's the L2PS pack. Worked by Bobbik.

 

Now, I'm looking to build up a team worth to work with.

 

I'm orientated to a 10-15x server, since there aren't many low ones which are worth to play on.

( Not talking about RPG-Club )

 

 

So, till now, we're 4 persons in the team.

 

1)  2x Graphic designers - Web Designers

2)  2x Core - Java devs

 

 

 

 

Currently, I'm without a good computer / laptop. I'm using a old one which doesn't have some buttons.

I'm waiting for a laptop to be shipped from the US.

 

The project will start the same day I put my hands on that laptop ( It was shipped yesterday, DHL courier so it might take about a week or so, to get it )

 

So, what I'm looking for ?

 

I'll need people who can speak 2 or more languages, for the position of forum moderators and in game masters.

 

English is the language you should know to speak/type.

 

We've got : French, Serbian, Greek, English speaking staff.

We're looking for : German, Russian, Lithuanian, Polish and Spanish speakers.

 

There's a test server hosted at Hetzner already.

Maybe theres a reason why you cant find any good low rate server now days?

Times for low rate enden, people are more busy than ever and if they wanna play low they go to official or RPG server. I would suggest to higher the rates, which i think would get more players to your server..

Seriously is there players who would play a x15 high five? Even retail got faster game (lvl and gear wise), and those who stood on private servers have done the grind bilion times. Why none makes a fucking pvp unique pvp server in 2013, whatever chronicle, checking private servers section and they are all terrible.

 

NO. A good server doesn't mean bugless core, in 2013 you must have bugless files, its mandatory

Good server is new and etertaining features (not overused ones) and enough big avertising campaing to collect at least 3000 or more players

 

You shall get profit also

I'm aiming for 2k+ players. Money for ads exist.

 

about ''bugless files''. Will you give me 5k euros, to buy the OFF pack? - Thought so.

I've picked one of the most worked H5 packs right now, which is l2PS.

 

If there were good low/mid servers, people WOULD play. I'm not promising that I'll make the best server, ever.

I'm promising that I'll try to make something which most l2 players will enjoy and be online for a long period.

This wont be a donation server. Of course, there will be donations, so my team and I don't put money from our pockets.

      You think you have good “l2j” files until you try running a low-rate server.   Saying “there’s not a single L2 server out there worth mentioning” just shows you probably only know the first 10 servers on voting sites, the same voting sites that owned by them. You call the forum dead, yet you’re here discussing your next projects… From my perspective, you don’t seem ready to run any L2 server in 2025. Around 70% of players are here for RMT or ask for payment just to bring their clan, and you really think the community cares about Premium or donations or files quality? The other 20% spend their time downloading and deleting servers all day, playing for one day, then quitting for whatever random reason. And finally, the last 10% are the only ones who actually play because they genuinely like your features, your server files, and your overall project. Good luck 🙂

      I genuinely admire your bravery - in an age where AI can whip up something better in under a minute, you still stubbornly try to sell these "projects" of yours on a forum that’s been clinically dead for years. That’s no longer determination, that’s digital archaeology. I just can’t tell whether you’re actually trying to make money, or simply testing how much we can endure before we ask an AI to generate you some actual talent.   And ofc AI will make it for free, $220 saved.

      I’m glad I’m not the only one who appreciates Maxthor’s involvement in group gay orgies, he can’t be bothered to reply to messages, but covering the entire forum in gay lights is absolutely no issue for him. As for the project - the forum is packed with feedback from the testers, the lads are spending every spare moment fixing even the tiniest typo in an NPC’s text. I’ll share the links as soon as I get the green light. Edit: I forgot to add that the GM recruitment will begin once the links are released. Three people will be accepted, and they’ll work in a three-shift rotation so that there’s always a GM available online.

      Added: a brand-new default dashboard template. You can now add multiple game/login server builds. Full support for running both PTS & L2J servers simultaneously, with switching between them. Payment systems: added OmegaPay and Pally (new PayPal-style API). Account history now stores everything: donations, items delivered to characters, referrals, transfers between game accounts, and coin transfers to another master account. Personal Promo Code System: you can create a promo code and assign it to a user or promoter.
