L2j servers nowdays are easy to code, setup and edit. You should try to make your server by yourself because it doesnt have anything hard if you have time to "learn" it. And you can anytime ask here for help/ideas if anything is going wrong

Bha, I wanted to say something evil, but you will only know I wanted to say something evil.

The main part of it was about "if you got no clue about deving, don't even dare to create a public server".

Well there are more things to do than code the server. Just take a look at any prefessional company, maybe 1/3 of the staff are coders. Someone must create the story, events, stats, the ideas, ... or even seek for players or find the best way to get the money from them, and to do that you dont need any java knowledge

The main argument is, if you can code, you probably got enough IQ/imagination to make your own background/gameplay.

Basically if you got ideas and can't code => you're -beep-ed up.

If you can code, you can have your own ideas => bingo.

And if you can code but got no idea, you're a robot => sell your services and become rich.

There was a nice sentence on DarkBasic software : "You're only limited by your imagination" (marketing sentence saying the software was so easy then you could do whatever you want). Unfortunately for L2J, it's not the case ^^. If you got the technic, you can do whatever you want. If you got only imagination, well, continue to dream cause it won't work like that :P.
