Yes, i have the same question. One time in the past i had the same thing..

if the game lags and its a riot problem, it will say loss forgiven and not defeat. u dont lose elo if its ranked.

due to Riot issues you lost but your lost count was not increased

Or if all game lags and you got Dc.. its the same
