Now my response to the author. With booters you can bring down unserious hosts and the attack is called DOS.

DDOS is way more complicated than you think. You can't take an .exe program and start taking A' rated websites down. So, forget it.

 

I am curious as to why you have any opinion at all on our upcoming server considering you know nothing about it. Want to expand a little on your comment I would love to hear what you have to say.

You can absolutely and that is the point. It all depends on how you construct and how you distribute.

Well as about your server I won't be need to have any knowledge since no one plays l2 anymore even if it would be the best server. There are 5 reasons for that. Here are my experiments.

 

1/ The 70% of the people who used to play private servers were Greeks and due to the country's crysis no one has the time to give this game more attention.

2/ The official servers are free so why to join your 'off' ?

3/ Εven if there are some people left that remain to play that game it is so f ucked lately, 10 year old kids are creating a private server which closes after some days.

4/ The more active people who support the game now are Russians and in no way they would choose to play an american server.

5/ L2 has died. Look at you even you go to create a server.

 

As about your crypter who cares what you say.. You come in that thread which main theme is the ddos and you post random shits about trojans c'mon be realistic.

There are 10s of thousands still playing L2 on private servers. Don't forget I have been a part of the private L2 community since the start. There are many players that quit but will play again should a real server come along. Your comment is ignorant and untrue.

NCSoft has murdered the game in my eyes and many other oldschools players eyes. The game stopped being fun after lude/hellbound. Yes the OFF servers are now free but will never be free from botters and e-bayers our server is. I have tried the off servers now and I really had no fun the game is not L2 anymore. Our servers are for those that enjoy L2 as it once was and as how it should have stayed.

Which is why we need help spreading the word and as staff instead of being bashed on. We are not another L2J or fakked ext server. The idea we bring is unique and takes alot of work. We are not another 10 year old server and find it extremely har4d to "wade through the 100 foot deep pile of shit these 10 year old servers have put in our way".

It is people like you that are killing the L2 private community. I am not even sure what most of that sentence says honestly.

That was using a readily available crypter that does not even use private stubs (know what that is?) and yet it still fooled 37 up to date and very well known anti-viruses. Now imagine the ones that are privately developed and not publicy available. They go 100% FUD for years.

I think the crysis actually increased Greek players. 2 years ago i couldnt find any Greek people in any server. Now all servers are full of Greeks. Looks like they finally realised what a waste of money and time it is being in a coffee shop allday and waste money on bouzoukia and other temporarily pleasures.
