how can i define the sex of a player? on Java

I try this but it shows error in eclipse, it reads is as problem

 

if (activeChar.getAppearance().getSex() =0)

 

is this right?

No it's not. getSex returns a boolean value, which means it's true or false...

so, you should write

activeChar.getAppearance().getSex() == true/false

 

false = male and true = female.
