[Help] I change java files but it does not make change ingame... :p

I find the java files in my server files and i change them i open server and its still the same... :p what should i do?

Do i have to reboot java files or smthg? Please awnser...

For example i changed some things in the autojavavote thingy and no changes have been made... :P

What exactly do you mean you changed them?Did you use Eclipse to apply patches and compile?

No i had core, and i just edited them :P

Well check a tutorial on how to apply patches.It will help you.You need to compile after the changes u've made if im not wrong.

little tips: for the source when you edit and just add on a live server or test. just copy and paste the L2jserver.jar in the Game Folder.

 

You open the core.rar and open the gameserver folder you will find the l2jserver.jar just extract it to your gameserver folder maybe it.

Compile project using eclipse, then go in build folder, and c/p l2jserver.jar from the build folder to the libs folder of your server installation folder. Close your gameserver and relaunch it.

 

If you still didn't understand, read my post over and over until you understand.

hmmm ok, so i use the core as workspace in my eclipse...

then i make changes and do build.xml-> run as-> 2ant buil etc?

so far so good?

not run as > 2 ant build, but run as > 1 ant build
