my friend work in new project

 

its L2 social network project

Social  Network Features:

 

- friend system

- social system

- every clan have page in the network automatically

- if you join clan in-game u will be member in clan page

- you can switch between characters in your account in the site

- you can teleport for some area from the site [thats useful if you char stuck in someplace or something]

- skills viewer

- items viewer

- support many languages

 

if you see

that project had Nwatcher features

 

timeline for project lunch: in July or August 2011

 

 

so what do you think guys?

its good idea to make like that project?

if you are server admin, if u want to own that script how much ur ready to pay to own this social network for your server?

anyone have good idea for that project?

 

 

anyway need your opinion guys  ;D

-  what the options you like to see in this script ?

- what the price you expect for script like this  ?

also about Script Options i wanna Add to what my friend said :

- when you add friend into the game and he accept , he will be added to your friends on site

- chat will be supported

- script can easily translated to any languge (and i mean anylanguage , cause encouding problems will be solved)

- admin can manage all details

- every castle will have a page with details (who owns , war time , ......)

- full info about charcter

- and much much options

- plus all options you will say , will be applied :)

about selling the script

we won't sell script source

 

we will just sell script limited licenses [bayer can use his license for one site, and sure he can edit his license (like VBulletin)]

 

we will make license system [like vbulletin and IPboard]

 

about price dont worry

it will nominal price

 

that script will needs hard work bro, we are really want to make it for free but without support that will be stupid idea

if we make it for free that will result project dead anyway

well,just to let you know,L2Exile had something similar to it..

An account manager @ the website connected to the db..The thing is,their web got hacked and the whole server had account related issues!

As everyone knows, l2 is dying and a social network like this can unite a bit l2 players since they are spreaded on many many servers.

Looks good. Not sure if it's going to be used massively.

If i was a server owner I wouldn't pay anything, if I want a social network I'll just sign up at facebook or whatsoever and create a page. ;)

 

I'd think more globally if I were you, focus on ALL MMO's for example.
