L2j Private server problem

Fantje

Question

When i start login server there are no problems but as soon as i start the gameserver and when its booted the loginserver.bat gives me a error :

Couldn't resolve hostname "java.net.UnknownHostException: 192.168.2.100/8"

127.0.0.1/127.0.0.0/8

80.56.58.73/0.0.0.0/0

What is this problem ?? because of this i cant get into my server. when i start l2.exe i can login but as soon i get to server list it doesnt goes further.

Greetings Fantje.

You dont need to change the subnet thats the noob part in it from the l2j wannabes.

Change only the gameserver adress with a valid and resolvable ip.

If you know some things better not talk, especially in such a manner.

we do not change sub net, we create a sub net for access through the lan.

Where you will put the lan ip if have and external static or a domain name?

<define subnet="192.168.1.0/8" address="192.168.1.16" />  <- here the internal ip

The internal IP is useless to change since it will be mostly localhost, only the external ip is necessary for allow communication with pcs outside your network.

dear People most servers are on lan, especially those who are in netCafe.

what you think? that everyone has a pc and there all the programs installation?

Local host is for a test for what is the L2 server and learn eclipse and java.

Home servers/netcafe servers...but not server on a dedicated server or VPS...
