I can't really understand how we could bypass server's control. I mean you can not tell to the server what you do. The client make only requests and server checks if it is possible. For instance, item list from inventory seem to be sent by the server after each modification of it. (I'm not speaking about your idea about reading/writing before encryption, something like walker ig maybe).

go ingame and change resolution to something lower than your windows-desktop-resolution. Then go in your l2.ini and search for StartupFullscreen=True and change it with StartupFullscreen=False. This line line is twice in the files, so change it twice. Then go ingame and if it is not windowed, press alt+enter. (you can try this without changing l2.ini, but it never worked for me) You may have to decrypt file before with the l2 files decrypt tools (i don't have link sorry).

Well the easiest way to take over accounts is social hacking.

On some L2J I think you can see drop list of the mob with alt+click or shift+click.

Yes this is nice for low rate server where it's hard to get those B enchant scroll, but who would play on a l2j low rate ? Anyway thanks for sharing :-)

I don't have a link but it shouldn't be to hard to find something with google. YOu just have to chose c,c++,java,php,delphi,pascal ... For beginner you can try Dr Scheme, it's good for practice.

The server sends HP infos from every nearby player to client (which is quiet stupid I think ...) but it doesn't send mana infos (unless you are in party with the player I think).

I decompiled (made with delphi 6 by the way) L2sin to be sure that it isn't just a frontend and it isn't just a frontend, this apps does something (but I don't know what^^).

Try to run WPEpro and GameGuard and you will see :-) It just disconnect L2 Client when some "hacking apps" are on the computer.

That could be a good way. Good luck in your work. I saw that L2J team is going to release a tool in relation with packets with hopfully some documentation on packets. That could help alot.

I did some test with wpe also. I tried to filter packet 0x0f (not sure) for wh withdraw. I changed the number of object to withdraw and didn't get disconnected but I always had an "too much weigth" error but my inv was empty. I think I didn't understand how the number of object are in the packet.

Try to make it with ig walker to be sure you have right id and names for the items. Script make --> REC
