Well thats my opinion, how i see it. And dont worry about the logo or smt ull get it in a few more tries, its a pain in the ass in general.

I dont really think that the render blends well with the bg(mb its bcz of the lq). Also your logo needs some work. But good overall, kiu.

Theonegandalf gave you some pretty good pointers about those 2 languages. I vote for java because its kinda easy to handle gui,stuff, and so on...

imo text is too flat, also u should work a bit more on light. kiu m8. :) edit: mb some topaz would be fine. Smt fast ive tested to look more colorish

you may be right about the contrast. As about the text position i dont really like placing my texts upon the render, so i guess this is good enough for my taste :)
