Dunno if it's the best lowrate pack cause i got no epxerience in those. But for sure its not the best highrate one. On a side note, i dont like people who join here only to sell their code. It gives an image of bad intentions. Some person that cares only about selling some pack. That's how i feel when i see such topics from newcomers.

Ofcurse they do. Since L2J coding style was never extension-friendly. You need to hook a method ? You gotta break the whole encapsulation of a dozen of classes because someone , somewhere, ( probably on weed or something) thought it would make him a badass to make every access private/package and every variable final.

Remove your stupid signature and then ask the mods to remove the imposter. @Zoey The idea of intelectual property in open source does not exist. Imo, i even disagree with the idea of "credits". Once you share something for free it belongs to the global knowledge / community. :o ( I can't believe i'm actually saying such things ... ).

And every L2J project is based in Sun's Java Technology. And we dont say that L2J stole our "work". - Sun Microsystems. Way too many people contribute to L2J, to consider it "your" work. Dont you think ? :)

I can't clearly distinguish which is the joke in here. The fact that open source project MEMBERS work on private files and still retain their positions ? Or that they are attempting to open a lowrate in the era of free official ... :) Good luck anyway.

I'll be helping Howler from Friday since i'll get some free time too. Btw, you can still find all the old code used in L2retro in older revisions. HEAD has it deleted since we wanted to start over with a new approach with less design and coding flaws. PS: There's a dressme version in there not released in public, that even has character selection screen dressed, hero weapon limmitations etc. Basically the dressme version released extended. PS2: The pack/extension is still unstable. Dont use yet in public servers.

There's no server without donations. Those that claim they are, they usually do it under the table, which is even worse.

Its a very nice server. Approved. Gonna play it myself. It feels home :)

First of all, my apologies if this is not the right section. Lets hope it is ::) To the main point: When i speak about custom l2j servers i mainly speak about highrates with easy gear and custom features like special buffers/gatekeepers/events/commands or more advanced things. It's a common knowledge that highrates have a very short life expectancy for a couple of reasons some of them being gameplay abnormalities that piss off the players. From the developer's perspective i thought about writting in here the things that annoy us the most so as we get a better image on what players want, and where we are failing to ... pleasure them. I'll make the start: Keep it up :) Add the same things too if you agree.

The funny part, is that they didnt test a thing. Being a server developer myself, i found out that even if you play your server for days before opening it, you still will forget a lot of issues. And yet, they didnt even get testers ... When they first made an announcement about the server, i thought it was a promising attempt so i volunteered to be a beta tester to help them out. Here's the reply i got from them : Too bad, it was a very promising server.

Kinda, got the same feeling too :( I was expecting something better from the server description two months ago.
