  1. I suggest you stop making a server. You are not the right person to do so. If you need to pay someone to fix that for you it means you dont know how to do it yourself. Which is fine, or to be specific, "would" be fine if you could go study and figure out the solution. But since you cant do that either, i'd have to go with my first statement.
  2. http://www.assembla.com/code/L2jFrozenInterlude/subversion/changesets/916 I'll keep on going till i get a reply on this ... PS: Bring more L2jfrozen members , I am in a trolling mood tonight and i wanna make fun of all the team together :) PS2: Let me make it clean to you, you ARE going to pick a forum fight with me right here right now, or i'll go make a topic wtih title "Here's why i think l2jfrozen is a noob project" scanning all your timeline finding coding mistakes and posting them ... Yes, i'm a programming terrorist :)
  3. Why dont you comment on what i said about your project too ? Did you check my post ? No ? Here it is again : http://www.assembla.com/code/L2jFrozenInterlude/subversion/changesets/916
  4. Are you kidding me ? It barelly got over the base at IGN. And the sequel gets delayed is a good indication of what a good game developing team it has benind it ...
  5. And here we have an L2JFrozen commit : http://www.assembla.com/code/L2jFrozenInterlude/subversion/changesets/916 Now thats some quality commit ...
  6. I still didnt get the info i wanted though ... Why do you need C++ ? Also, about corruption , jelious competitors and 400 servers opening, blame Zoey's predecessors that made l2j baby-friendly :)
  7. Troll mode : It's not O ( 1 ) onKIll. Same with bigboss one. :) Here's a good problem based on this share : N one dimensional points divide a line into N - 1 segments. Given a number that belogs in those segments find in which segment it belongs. Working with integers always. Solution must be O ( 1 ) :)
  8. Excuse me kind sir, do you work in NCSoft or something ;D ? Cause if you dont, you sure are not a client developer. Client developing is not unpacking and altering executables or data cabinents, nor hooking a dll ....
  9. x = base_rate*10*(1+ 3 * Mean_probability_distribution_of_Vitality_level + 0.5 * mean_prob.... + 0.5 * mean_prob... ) => x = 10*(1+ ? + ? + ? ) => x = 10 + Something<? extends IVariable> => x = "lowrate"; Off we go, lectured math und coding style. Dont quiz me, cause i'll quiz your ass :) PS: Trolling with the "big" guys is far more enjoyable than trolling the insignificant members of this forum. :) ;D
  10. To pola enoo px 5-10 ?
  11. Telika exei polous hackerades kai gnostous-hackeradon ayto to forum e ? ( to mxc enoo ... )
  12. There's something about this server that comes in mind from the past, but i cant remember what. I'll figure it out soon :) EDIT: Figured out. You have a precompiled pack dont you ?
  13. check your pm :) OOP = object oriented programming ( which i happen to know in a good level ).
  14. Meeeeeeeeeeeen i'm waiting 2 days already to reply because i'm trying to analize it before i judge. I'll be able in some hours, coming into conclusion :)
  15. Kai tora pou oi anonymous eriksan ena website/server me kapio remote 0day exploit mporoume na pame oloi sta krebatia mas na kimithoume isixoi ... Sinanai giabroum ...
  16. Good effort wish you all the luck. Some things that i must point out though : I can't seem to find custom features that will promote teamplay combat and clan/alliance formation/wars which seems to be the biggest problems nowadays. Be sure to debug and test the game a lot before releasing. Many custom features means many new bugs/abnormalities introduced. Coding something custom isn't as easy as adding known tested retail game functionality.
  17. And that my friend is why GIT > SVN. Because it has both local and remote repository. So when you commit/search, you do it locally and its pretty fast ;) Then you push like 40 commits together in one remote action. The L2 world would have been very different if l2j was hosted in github. But old traditions are very difficult to change ...
  18. Welcome to L2KickAss PVp Server !!! Site Added ! Da -beep- is that ?? Really you added a site ? Is that somehow news ? Or is that that now that you added a webiste ( which you should have since day zero ) everything's gonna be fine ? First imporession, completelly amateur work. But who knows now, things may have changed. After all ... Site Added ! ::)
  19. Let's get over with this people. There's not gonna be any decent interlude server opening. Neither now, nor never. Interlude was good, but it's past now. The world keeps moving and you gotta follow.
  20. Here let me show you the math formula simplified without the differential equations and the Furrier transformations you have in mind : If i dont get to 80+ in a day, its considered lowrate. Satisfied ? Its not 2007 , its 20--beep-ing-12. And to avoid any misunderstandings: It's not because I'm lazy, its because effort should be put when playing a stable game in a stable gaming environment. This game is not stable and we can all agree that the private servers aren't stable either including yours that recently reset. So i guess you get the point on why i consider it a lowrate now. Do i need to write a paper on it full of maths for you to understand ? See, i'm good at math. Mainly because I know for a fact that MODIFIED_EXP = EXP * SERVER_DURATION / ( 1 + SERVER_DURATION ) ( Let's call this Issle's leveling principle for shorts ILP ) The scientist
  21. Take a picture of that point and send it to my email :) Since i still cant see it :)
  22. Can you give some extra info on the C++ related positions ? What do you need from C++ ?
  23. AbsolutePower, dont listen to most of the guys in the forum. They know nothing about revisioning system. Frequent and small commits are better than big and rare. The reason is the ability to revert your work in small chuncks when you do mistakes. I'm using GIT for my projects ( not SVN ) and i commit on my local repository ( not push on remote ) every 4-5 mins approximatelly. So yea, if you are an intermediate - beginner developer do many small commits because that allows you to revert mistakes that at your stage will be frequent. Your project's timeline is not the reclama of your work. So feel free to work on it the way you want and dont give a crap about what the others think. If they dont like it, they are free to NOT use your OPEN SOURCE project. The wise wizard
  24. I really dont see the point in developing an old chronicle ... :(
