  1. Lindvior update shared. Visit http://mobius.netau.net/ to get sources and geodata.
  2. I think about it. It depends from what people will join the new project. I have a couple of things in my mind that need to be determined before I share anything.
  3. Because my work is based on Lindvior. Geodata exist for quite some time now. Can use other Lindvior packs to improve stuff.
  4. Lindvior Update I think of releasing my work made on the last year since I closed the project. There will be no support, but as it used to be, I will not ignore shares made for the project. The only thing that bothers me is people leeching my work, move to other projects and eventually stop development. So, I am really hesitating to share my work once more. This really depends on you, if you think that some good may be gained from it, make a reply.
  5. Yes, indeed we are (no disrespect to Tryskell). We have his code. His code + Our private code = several steps ahead. Because L2 OFF Interlude is at best C1-C4 moded files, elegal and trully full of bugs. On the other hand, if you are have a good coder group, you can rewrite everything in Java. Please, if you like to speak about L2OFF vs L2J, there are other posts in this forum, don't spam this post. I am not fond of bots, but I am also not the only person on this team. Team decided to permit bots and that is how it's gonna be.
  6. aCis may be not ready for low rate servers, but our pack is. We can make things from nothing on our own, we do not use a l2j-lol pack, change rates and go live.
  7. Server will go live somewhere on September 2013. Keep visiting for more information. Mobius started as an l2j side-project, but now almost everything is based on aCis pack, cleaned up and written in Java7 with no python injected scripts. We use stazis geodata that where individually edited by ourselves on numerous locations. We will not brag about everything working on our server, everyone that says that is a certified liar. But we will brag for all features that indeed work as they should. If you search a low rate old school server to play at. Look no more, you have just found it. Game Mechanics: All game mechanics are 100% aCis based. Why? Because Tryskel on aCis dedicated months to find information about game mechanics as they where back on Interlude. That information was found on official forums and was posted by players during 2007-2008. Furthermore he did not copy retail mechanics if they where flaud, something that most l2j-lol packs do. Retail Database: All information that concludes our database was carefully gathered, compared and filtered from varius databases found on the internet. Some of them where retail, some not. We will not say that ours is 100% retail, but it is very unlikely you encountered a more complete Interlude database, unless you played on retail servers when Interlude was live. Even so, you will notice the great similarity. Missing Content: As said above, if anyone brags that has an all working retail-like server is a certified liar. Why? Because even official based interlude servers are mare from C1-C4 elegal moded (dll injected) files. On Mobius we recreated everything that really matters for hardcore players. Stats, Drops, Skills, Nobles, Olympiad. If we do not have something is because it is not retail made yet, but in due time almost everything will be implemented. FAQ: What are the server rates? Mobius is a x3 server. EXP x3, SP x3, Adena x3, Normal Drops x3, Raid Drops x3, Spoil x3. Are there donations on this server? If you meen "Can I buy Items on this server" the answer is NO, you can't. No items. If you really want to donate money for the sake of the server, then yes it is accepted. Is botting allowed on this server? We were quite skeptical at the beggining, but eventually we decided to accept botters. It's better than adding fake shops to increase server population, not to mention that it is quite fun for PvP. As for the server economy we think bots do more good than bad (official is proof of this). Site: http://mobius.netau.net/
  8. Some ungrateful kids... Well you know what they say... "You reap what you sow."
  9. I can believe what I read here. I will continue to sync every change you make as you used my initial files as a basis. How about you buying some other project files as a base, or even start on your own from zero? Last time I checked, you where the ones that created a fork project.
  10. Plus now that I don't use the free template I have full access (to make backups etc) :P
  11. Made a new forum. Please register at http://www.mobius.netau.net Sorry for waiting.
  12. Too bad someone did this on our forum. Well... As long the repository is intact we can keep it up. Looking for a free host provider atm. If someone wants to provide us with a new forum pm me.
  13. In order to make this possible we need more developers. At the moment we need more Core developers. There are a lot of things that need to be fixed, changing to glory days packets it's just one of them. I would not say no if someone committed them, but it is not a priority. As you see in the timeline people commit changes daily and the files are getting better.
  14. L2J-Mobius The Start As a teenager I wanted to make my own game. Back on year 2000...something, game engines cost insane amount of money. Unlucky for me, L2jserver claimed to be legal, if you made no client modifications. I thought it would be a great to use Lineage 2 as a client and customize the server. So I joined L2jServer as Pandragon, later invited as an advanced member. Work with L2jServer At that time trying to launch a live server was devastating. Major reworks where never finished and official information was interpreted wrong. Fixes for these problems either took months to be committed, or if shared by non inner team members, denied even as tempfixes. Also even under GPLv3 license, they would not commit work of fork projects (see L2DC, aCis etc). Supposely to be open source and unlike other emulator projects, many things where kept and still are strictly available only to inner circle members. (See Hellbound committed after years and GeoData tools that still are private.) Goddess of Destruction After some time I saw many packs, selling for hundreds of euros, that actually was L2j plus my free shared implementations shared on L2jServer forum that was never committed. So I decided to share all my work for free as a new project based on russian forks. In fact, I was the first person that shared freely Goddess of Destruction files. L2jUnity Relationship For two years I worked with russian forks, but at the same time I worked with L2jServer as well. So I tried to make a GoD based L2jServer, at that point L2j did not have an Ertheia branch. Right after making that, L2jServer inner team decided to make an Ertheia branch. Since I already worked with L2jServer and it was open source I used it and made a new branch. Right after making that, L2jServer team (except Zoey) decided to leave L2j and make L2jUnity private. Since then L2jServer is essentially a dead project and their inner team is now known as L2jUnity. A year later when they released a free version, I used it, mainly for their reworked skill system. Since then I am blamed to use their, essentially free and shared work, as if I stole it. Main reason that lead making the project private in order to find serious people to work with. Project Progress Merged most of the work made while working with russian forks. Hundreds of commits fixing severe L2jUnity inherited issues. Made Interlude and HighFive branches following my way of working. Reworked many core features noone dared to touch to match retail behaviour. Fixed hundreds of bug reports made by people that had live servers. Added several custom features requested by people that had live servers. Followed all game updates from Ertheia to Salvation and Classic. Project Future Recently I decided to stop accepting subscribers on 1/1/2019. I do not agree on how things are done on L2j projects.
