You use the xdat editor to edit the interface.xdat file. As far as I know there is no guide on how to do it. You basically have to figure it out on your own by translating russian interface modification topics on forums like emerald and averia and then learning by trial and error.

How in the world do you want to categorize every single buff via the interface? There is no way.

Ok so i basically want to make a few buffs appear in a seperate party buff window so you can easily observe them and rebuff if they get canceled. Till now I was just changing them to the debuff bar and it did it's job, but it wasn't perfect since they are blinking red and also the usual debuffs can get distracting, not to mention you can't cancel them. So the perfect thing would be to change them into the special buff category but I can't seem to find a way to do that.. Also how can i switch the barrier from a summon/pet like the panther/phoenix to its buff bar or better yet, change party ud to its special bar?

So ur saying that it's doable for olympiad? How difficult is it? if it's anything besides simply changing a line in a file i'm not going to bother. Currently playing purely h5 olympiad, so I wanted to add the ultimate defense animation to buffs which ncsoft heavily failed to make observable, like sword shield, vengeance, party ud, prahnah, mystic immunity etc.

If it's really skillgrp, which part/how to edit it? I already tried changing everything and I didn't get the wanted effect, the number infront of the icon is only for casting animation.

Is it possible to add an animation to a buff, which would work the same as skills like ultimate defense and arcane shield? If yes, what file and which program? As far as i know it's def. not linked to the skillgrp, where you can only change the casting part. Having the same effect as ud on skills like ptud, sword shield, dp, mi etc would be insanely helpful.

- If oly is already up, how come no one is ever joining it? Usually people would have done their 60 matches before the supposed reset on friday. - Am i tripping or is olympiad joinable 24/7? - How can heroes be on the 1st of july when it says: heroes every 2nd friday? Meaning that they should be on the 26th.

Ignoring what is written in the features, can anyone confirm when olympiad will start running and when are the 1st heroes?

As the title says, i'm looking for a way to make my camera zoom unlimited like in L2, since the default way of looking arround and the absurdly low zoom make the game rly obnoxious.

Well the thing with having a 24h olympiad with no limitations is that on one hand it sounds cool to be able to play it whenever you want and as much as you want, but it comes with a big downside, which is that for example if you would want to go for hero, you would have to play constantly, making you grow tired of olympiad pretty fast and would actually represent a big factor for making the daily player count fall, so i advise you to keep the matches limited (you can extend the limitation by a little bit) and have them run for a specific amount of time per day (arround 6h imo) which would encourage the players to do multiple oly classes and give them something to look forward to every day. Having a pvp zone also helps raise the online count a bit and gives you someting else to do while getting hyped for olympiad. The smart pvp bots that emerald uses are also a big factor for keeping the pvp going the whole time. I don't exactly remember everything what you can buy from the pvp currency on emerald but there were def. a lot of accessories, that would make your char look nice, cloaks from the god+ chronicles, pvp talis like str+1, all stat etc. and alot more things that would encourage you to pvp. You should not be able to use all the op stuff that you get from pvping in olympiad ofcourse, because that would make the players think that they have to constantly grind pvps in order to not be at a dissadvantage. They didn't actually have an olympiad currency, but i just mentioned it, because it would be a smart thing to also give people an extra reason for joining olympiad. For example like some other russian server did it, they made it so you get olympiad coins from doing matches and completing the daily quests, with which you could buy luxurious items that would give you an extra edge in olympiad, like the freya cloak, belts, 6 slots bracelets and so on. You could also skip getting all the coins and simply donate for it.

That would be awesome. I would advise you to do a server like the russian Emerald, on which i used to play with a couple of friends a few months back and loved it, the server is still up but they did something that doesen't let you get english text anymore (if someone got it working hit me up!). Def. don't do a server like oly2 a.k.a. gamefirst.ru since it's unbalanced as fuck and has many flaws + it completely dies out after 2 weeks, so the work u put into it would be wasted. Emerald - Full instant free gear, 6h of oly every day with nominations every 2 weeks, a nice zone to pvp at (added smart pvp bots), currencly from oly wins and pvps for cool looking stuff like god+ weps, armors, cloaks, hats, pvp talis etc. oly2 - you start with lvl 56 and b grade gear, then u lvl up through oly and waste a week of ur time raging at the broken shit till you hit an area with the same opponents that the system doesent allow you to beat and progression slows down by 90% and makes you quit.
