Mouse lag occurs when some of time, CPU overclock and over boost the game cause the mouse become 1) - Lag 2) - Late response 3) - Hard to play But luckily, seems that Windows Vista user do not have any problem with this problem. If it occurs at Windows Vista, this tutorial may help you. So, if you seems to play and had problem with this kind of problem, here's how to fix it. For Xp/Vista 1) Start the game as normal. 2) Wait it load 3) Before start or connect any server, press ALT + TAB and hold it for 1 second (below than 3 second) 4) Then the game to minimize 5) Go and open Task Manager To open Task Manager (windows XP & Vista) 1) Find a space at region of Start Menu (known as toolbar 2) Right-click on toolbar, select Task Manager 3) Then after select, wait a moment to load Task Manager 4) After it load, go and select "Process" tab 5) Then find at list named "hl.exe" 6) After searching, right-click on it and select "Set Priority" for Vista or "Priority" for XP user. 7) Select "Low" 8) After you select "Low", there is pop-up says, "Changing the level of priority may cause system instability. Do you confirm to change?" Select yes. 9) Close the Task Manager Alternate Way (Recommended for Software user) 1) First of all, go to Control Panel. 2) Go to "Performance & Maintenance" 3) Go to "System" 4) At the System windows, go to "Advance" tab. 5) At the "Performance" section, click Settings 6) After click, you may see another window. This simple tutorial will teach you how to put background music on your CS or CS:CZ there are two ways: 1st.- enter the cstrike/czero folder create a folder called "media" (without the quotes) if there isn't one - rename your song (must be a .mp3) to "gamestartup" - put the mp3 on the "media" folder 2nd.- on your cstrike/czero sound folder, create a "music" folder (your song needs to be on that music folder you created) - Open notepad and write this: "Playlist" { "Splash" "sound\\music\\(your song name here).mp3" } - Save it to your cstrike/czero folder and ready!
