[Guide] Npc-No Hp Bar

I see some guys still looking for this and when i searched i didnt really find anything on it other than ppl asking or ppl saying to just change L2Type which doesnt work anymore with newer clients.

 

Most here may already know this but i see few new guys still looking so..

 

We Need L2FileEdit i use this one by CriticalError.

Remember just because you found an Npc and changed it from L2Npc to L2Monster doesnt mean its gonna work, not all have animations for attack and some will appear frozen and not do anything. Aswell any weapons  or some skills can cause this effect.Some of these Npc's are not In Use because they are Not Done or were never intended to be an attacking mob.Most will but this is trial and error on some of them.Dont use  "clear Npc's" .

 

So...your making a new farm area or would like to use a mob that is normally just an L2Npc, or a custom Npc with an L2Npc.Template. When you make the proper changes in the DB and spawn this npc it still has no Hp bar.

We can correct this

 

Open the FileEdit we got above.Be sure that the editor is set to CT2.5:Freya  Version 413.

 

before you start remember any disruption in the spaceing of these lines will cause npc to not appear or client crash use cautionthat No Extra Spaces are put in.

Open and Decrypt.  You want to find where you put the system folder we got from above and find the file Npcgrp.dat.Click open!

 

when we open the file we can see lines like this.This Npc is actually the first one listed in this file.

20001 LineageMonster.gremlin LineageMonsters.gremlin_m00

 

The first set of numbers we see is the Npc Id.template  Search for  (34 LineageNPC2.br_blessed_taiboy) there is a find option on the left of the edit tool.then you should see sumthing like this.

34 LineageNPC2.br_blessed_taiboy Branch2.br_blessed_taigirl_m00 5 BranchSys2.npc.br_blessed_stick_t00

 

We need to follow this line to its end till we see something like this.

 

LineageEffect.p_u002_a   0   50.00000000   250.00000000   70.00000000   0   0   0

 

These last three numbers give us what we want! The number highlighted in red above will give this mob an Hp bar by changing the 0 to a 1 then save and Encrypt thats it lol.Providing you have the proper setup in your db this mob will work.I use this mob in my safe zone/newbie area.

Gm shops and other Npc's that you wish to remove the life meter from we need to agian find the mob in the Npcgrp.dat and find its line end!! and just simply change the number as we did above to a 0 instead of a 1 and now our gmshop or other npc will now have a clear name template.

 

do not copy then paste any examples from here as they are incomplete and used only as an example.

Be sure that those who use your server get a copy of the System folder that you made the changes in or they wont see it anyway.

 

 

i know its no big deal but for the guys that want to use that certin mob but cant.

Ty Guys just saw that a few ppl needed such a thing.

 

I would have to be honest and say ive not tried the fake pc's,i have seen them however and the ones i have seen in passing appears as human,elf,orc etc.

if they dont have a line within the npcgrp file u will get the default health meter.

 

You would need to build a new line for this npc.
