Stealth Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I haven't exactly understood whats your problem. You want to find x? or where x belongs to?
Erol Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 it is a parametric equation.. for example: 2x-ax=3a+2 => x(2-a)=3a+2 => there are 2 cases. 1st case: 2-a=0, a=2 0x=8 there is no answer to this one... 2nd case: a=/2 =/ means if it isnt 2 x=(3a+2):(2-a) so the answers are there is no answer if a=2 if a=/2 x=(3a+2):(2-a) in this equation the parameter is 'b' dude you have 3 unknown parameters. x,b,y. what are you trying to find there?
Stealth Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 dude you have 3 unknown parameters. x,b,y. what are you trying to find there? True , you only have two equations and three unknown parameters.
Smok3BoY Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 True , you only have two equations and three unknown parameters. we done this in high-school(greece) there are 2 ways to solve this prob from the beggining and go to the anwser or from the answer to the beggining if you wanna find the way + the answer is not finished you can make it more simple and xεR/{-1}
