toshiba sucks.. their batery is -beep-ed up it lasts like 50 mins.. one friend had toshiba

P.S. Voted for HP they are one of the best laptops.Dell are good too.

I voted for Apple. I wish I had a MacBook but I can't afford it at the moment.

There are good cheaper laptops, though. If you don't want your laptop for cool games, photoshop and video editing software, you'll be fine with a simple machine.

My battery lasts 2 hours 50 minutes and I have an Acer. Nothing special but still.

Sony.. even if i have acer. Vaio laptops just pwn, i've tested them many times and i really like them =)

i have Sony Vaio laptop,the battery lasts 2,30 hours...Pretty good in my opinion!

voted for Dell cause it have the best laptop and desktop series Alienware...

Apple have good macbooks which are stable but they are very expensive....
