0 Frank Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Well, as I can see your machine is not good but it is not bad too. You can handle 50-80 players without lag but it depends on your country too.
0 Leprus Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 100mb/s... make the difference between 100mb/s and 100mbps and then try to open a server..

If you won't use this computer for anything (just for the server) and if people will login only from your country, you can handle a loooot more players.
0 Alexi Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 You can Handle 100-110 players, you can increase this number if you install windows server 2003 or Linux Ubuntu 9.10
0 DeathCreature Posted January 2, 2010 Author Posted January 2, 2010 100mb/s... make the difference between 100mb/s and 100mbps and then try to open a server.. i know the difference...... its written on internet company that in my country its 100mb/s and in others 6mb/s Thank you all for help :)
0 Intrepid Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 the pc is ok the os...well dont use xp use a server os instead and its fine
0 Zeeyo Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 100mb/s... make the difference between 100mb/s and 100mbps and then try to open a server.. b = bit B = byte m = milli (although in networking, it's the same as 'M') M = mega ps = per second /s = per second So, in terms of political correctness, mbps equals mb/s, while MB/s doesn't equal Mbps. BACK ON TOPIC: It highly depends on if you use it as a workstation (think of it as a home/work computer) or as a dedicated machine. Anyway, you can handle 50 players in your country in any case.
