I will to try again to do list:

1. use waby - ip 85.14.217.252 port 2106 ----> inside archive with waby have some set.ini - forget about that file.

2. start waby ( If you have problem with this file MSWINSCK.OCX and waby scream about this file just google it and download then put in folder c:\windows\system32 ) You need the vb runtime files to run this! Get them here ! http://support.microsoft.com/kb/192461

3. download 10.8.8 from there http://rapidshare.com/files/202961337/l2walker_10.8.8.rar

4. modify set.ini inside this pakckage with this one:

5. Start walker, put your user, pass - and all will work.

 

6 p.s. you no need to add nothing in hosts file in windows. Should be like original windows hosts file - that is enoug

I made a working 10.9.0 version without wuby  ;D and items in inventory are ok ;D

 

i take that version on this forum, then add xzCrk 10.9.0 and edit set.ini to connect to dragon ip.

2) insert username and pwd

rofl GG man - nice virus inside ( detected with panda) - you should be banned for this.

p.s. Panda report for this virus in your pacakage - Trj/Kapod.L ( in xzCrk.exe file )

      more info what exactly do your "nice way"

Description: Trojan.Kapod is a password stealing Trojan which sends the sensitive information to a remote location.

Type: TT_Backdoor, TT_Spyware

Ok - i found a way Cheesy

1. http://www.maxcheaters.com/forum/index.php?topic=63380.0 - use this nice Waby. If you have problem with this file MSWINSCK.OCX and waby scream about this file just google it and download then put in folder c:\windows\system32

2. Start waby - put login ip on DN - this one 85.14.217.252 - and hit start.

3. Start walker ( i use 10.8.8 - still work best with DN  ) - put user and pass and all should work great. Ah you need to make litle change in set.in. Here is my for those who is lasy:

WSS and Waby used 2106 and ........

Where i say that you need to use WSS ^^. Now try without wss - you need only walker+waby - read carefull instruction! To be honest in this order - waby+walker :P

      SSAO was in the game but was removed due to performance. I will revisit it. We have god rays and volumetric fog already (mind you, the god rays are a low-resolution screen-space radial effect, and fog volumes are unshadowed). It is something else I want to revisit, but I need to balance performance and quality. The only thing we haven't added is depth of field, which I might look into.

      the problem isnt the tech, its what you build on top of it. running a live server on a closed binary you didnt compile is risky by default. you cant audit it, you cant patch it, and when something breaks you dont have the source to know why.   the usual “but everyone uses the ncsoft client” is exactly the point. that binary isnt safe because its third party, its safe DESPITE being third party, for one reason only: 20 years of thousands of ppl tearing it apart byte by byte. whole protocol is documented, no surprises left. if it had anything weird in it we would have found it a decade ago.   this client is the opposite. its a fresh binary that a couple ppl looked at for a few days. and who made it matters. ncsoft is a dead corp that couldnt care less about your private server. this one is from a project thats alive, from someone who most likely doesnt want his client running someone elses server. im not saying it has anything in it. im saying you cant audit it and the author is not a neutral party. add that this same thread shows it gets reversed in days, so it gives you zero protection and full dependency.   for a weekend project who cares. for something with real players i wouldnt build my server on that.

      Can I suggest some things. I'm not experienced with 3D graphics but I have the belief that they are easily implemented with high impact: Screen-Space Ambient Occlusion : Can this be added for mesh/objects (not npc/players cause it might be too tough on performance). Volumetric Fog / Gods Rays : Going through trees or local structures / meshes such as ruins, this will look amazing.   Depth of Field : I'm not sure if this is going to look good, but when you target a player, make the game focus on that layer of distance ?
