[Request] Java Command

Question

Posted

when i try to run a .bat file (like RegisterGameServer.bat), it says the following thing:

'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

i tried to add a environment variable "JAVA_HOME". i gave the right direction of jdk, restarted and nothing... the same problem again

i tried to add the jdk direction in the "Path" variable, restarted but nothing again.

why does that happen?

just uninstall and take the latest JDK with Jre from sun ... that thing that turns up in your console says that you dont have java installed or you use 64bit and you have to link it to your path of jre

He doesn't need to point at anything. Uninstall EVERY version of java on your machine. Google for java sdk, should be around 80mB+, download it, install it, reboot your pc. Voila, works like a charm.
