An Introduction To MSN:

Windows Live Messenger (formerly named MSN Messenger, and colloquially referred to as simply MSN) is an instant messaging client created by Microsoft that is currently designed to work with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Mobile. The client has been part of Microsoft's Windows Live set of online services since 2005. It connects to Microsoft's .NET Messenger Service. The client was first released as MSN Messenger on July 22, 1999,[1] and as Windows Live Messenger on December 13, 2005

First Of All You Need To Create A Hotmail Account...If You Have On Just Skip This Step...

Fill Out The Form With Your Desired Username And Password Or Follow The Pic Below:

***Don't Fill Out The Form With The Same Username,Alternative Mail,State,Postal Code...You Must Fill It Out With Your Own Ones...

Now That Our Account Is Created We Will Need To Download The Last Version Of Windows Live Messenger....

***For Your Own Good I Tell You To Download The FuLL Version And Not Only The Messenger...Some Of Them Will Be Really Usefull...

Now That You Downloaded And Installed The Full Last Version Of Windows Live Messenger You Must Log-In....

Go C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger And Find The "msnmsgr(It's Gr 'coz Mine Is Greek Yours Could Be IT For Example)

If Still Can't Find It Then Look The Picture Below:

Now That You Found It Right Click On It And Press "Create Shortcut"...Move The Shortcut On Your Desktop So You Can Open It More Easier Than Going To C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger Every Time You Want To Open It...

Now Look Carefully The Picture Below:

*The First Blank Field Must Be Filled Out With Your E-mail(Windows Live Messenger Account)

For Example:maxcheatersftw@hotmail.com

**The Second Blank Field Must Be Filled Out With Your Account:

For Example:123456789...It Should Be Looking Like This "*******" Except You Have Followed The K4rma's Guide....

***If You Want Your PC To Remember Your Username(E-mail) Click On The Field Marked With Red Color

****If You Want Your PC To Remember Your PassWord Click On The Field Marked With Black Color

*****If You Want Your MSN To Open Automatically Every Time You Start Your PC The Click On The Field Marked With Yellow Color(The 2 Options Above Must Be Clicked If You Want To Use The Third One)

******If You Forgot Your PassWord The Click On The Field Marked With Green Color..

Now That You Filled Out All The Blank Fields You Are Ready To Log-In...

When You Log-In You Will Notice That You Don't Have Any Contacts....

How To Add Some???

Click On The Button With A Gray Man And A + On It Like The Pic Above:

And Then Click "Add A Contact"

If Your Friends Don't Have An MSN Account Don't Worry There Is The Solution...

Click Again On The Gray Man With The + On It Like The Pic Above And Click On The Last Option Marked With Green Color:

***Click On The Red Marked Field To Create A Team(Group)

***Click On The Blue Marked Field To Create A Category For Your Contact(Friends For Example)

***Click On The Yellow Marked Field To Add A Contact....

Adding A Contact

When You Will Try To Add A Contact A Window Will Come Up...Fill Out The Form With The Contact's Information Like The Pic Above:

Personal Information And Pictures:

When You Log-In You Will Notice That Your Name Is The One You Putted When You Created Your Account And You Don't Have A Personal Message...You Don't Have A Picture Either...So Follow My Simple Steps...

Click On Your Name And A Windows Will Come Up...Press "Options" And Then Another Window Will Come Up:

***Fill The Black Colored Field With Your Desired Name.

***Fill The Red Colored Field With Your Desired Personal Message

***Fill The Yellow Colored Field If You Want The Song That You Are Currently Listening On Windows Media Player To Be Appeared As Your Personal Message

***Click On The Purple Colored Field To Change Your Avatar/Profile Picture

***Click On The Green Colored Field To Edit Your Profile...

If You Downloaded The Full Version Of MSN Then You Will Be Able To Enjoy One Of The Most Useful Applications Of Windows Live Messenger....

Click On The Letter Picture As I Do On The Picture Below:
