[move]WARNING: THIS IS A LITTLE ADVANCED AND YOU SHOULD KNOW VERY WELL WINDOWS XP/VISTA! I M NOT RESPONSABLE FOR SOME PC DOWN XD, BUT IF YOU DO ALL RIGHT THIS STEPS WILL BE EASY FOR YOU![/move]

 

 

 

Do you want create a server but you have a piece of sh1t in home? ok this guide will be very helpfull for you!

this will increaves your memory and give oportunaty to more ppl play in your server

Let's Start!

 

1 Step-

Start>Run, "regedit". Go to file>Export.

This will do a backup of the regist of your pc, make sure you do THIS!

Why? because if something wrong you can load it!

 

 

2 Step- This will increaves your net!

1. Click Start, Run

2. Type "gpedit.msc"

3. Maximize "Computer Configuration"

4. Maximize "Administrative Templates"

5. Maximize "Network"

6. Go on "QoS Packet Scheduler"

7. Double click on "limit reservable bandwidth,"

8. Tab "settings" or "settings", check "enabled" or "enabled"

9. Where it says "bandwidth limit%" change to 0

10. Click Apply and OK to give

 

3 Step- This will put your pc more faster!

1. Go to "Properties" only with the right clicking on the Desktop

2. Go in the tab "Appearance" and "Effects"

3. Uncheck everything except "Hide underlined navigation keypad ..."

4. Return to the tab "Appearance"

5. In the category "Windows and buttons", choose "Windows Classic"

6. Apply and OK to give

4 Step- this will check that your server dont go down (MEGA USEFULL!)

1. To start, go to "Run"

2. Type "Sigverif.exe"

3. Click "start"

5 Step- This one i just recommend for advanced, but i make a list of programs that dont need!

1. Go to "Control Panel", select "Administrative Tools"

2. Select "Services"

3. To turn off the process with the right and click on "Stop"

List Of dont needed .exe (i dont know how to say just stop sh1t .exe of windows xD)

Messenger

Remote Registry Service

Telnet

Windows Time

6 Step- Defragment your HD bring the files in order, so that the HD is faster

1. Go to "My Computer"

2. Right-click on the HD, choose "Properties"

3. Go to tab "Tools"

4. Click "Defragment Now"

5. "Defragment"

 

7 Step-Increasing the performance of its memory (1st step MAKE THE BACKUP!)

 

1. Go to start, "run" and type "regedit"

2. Look for the following key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ C ontr ol \ Session Manager \ Memory Management

3. Double click on "DisabePagingExecutive", select "Decimal" and put the 1st

4. Double click on "LargeSystemCache", select "Decimal" and put the 1st

5. Create a new DWORD value, click the "Memory Management", so it created name "IOPageLockLimit,"

Give a double click and select "hexadecimal", put:

 

4000 has 128Mb of RAM

10000 has 256Mb of RAM

40000 has 512Mb of RAM or more, OK

 

6. Restart the computer to do so.

8 Step- Enhancing the performance, if you have 256Mb of RAM or more

 

1. Start, "run" and type "msconfig.exe"

2. Select the tab "SYSETM.INI"

3. Add "ConservativeSwapFileUsage = 1" in the "[386enh]

4. Click OK and restart the computer to effect

9 Step-TCP Optimizer - This program optimizes your internet to make better use

 

1. Download the program: http://www.speedguide.net/files/TCPOptimizer.exe

2. In the "Network adapter" put the network card you purchase Internet USA

3. At the top place your internet (Cable, DSL, dial ...)

4. Leave selected "Optimal Settings" below

5. Click "Apply Changes"

6. Click OK when you lose to restart

 

10 & 11 Step-Disabling unnecessary interface more

 

1. Go to "Control Panel", select "System"

2. Go to tab "Advanced", click on Performance 'Settings'

3. Select the option for better performance

4. Apply and OK

 

By reducing the tension that causes the server

 

1. Start, "run", type "regedit"

2. Go to the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / CurrentControlSet / Control / PriorityControl

3. Click with the right and select new DWORD value named IRQ8Priority

4. Click modoficar

5. Place 1

6. Give OK

12 & Final Step- Desactive the print spooler

As you will not use your server to print anything you can add ...

 

The you go to start the>>> run msconfig ...>>>

 

tab in the print spooler service proucure.

WITH THIS YOUR PC ALMOST NO LAGED AND MORE  THAN 40% OF CAPACITY OF PLAYERS!
