Whats the difference between l2j, l2emu and l2jfree ?

I've been using L2j for a month now but I've heard alot of good things from l2emu.

 

L2emu seems to be most popular (Maybe faster development and less bugs)?

 

But what exactly is the difference between L2j and L2emu ??

 

What about L2jfree ?? I'm currently stuck as to whether to switch over to l2emu or even l2jfree.

Well i Like l2jfree bcauz it have good security .. and bugs well it have ... but is good pack for mid rate server!

 

L2emu pack is good one for pvp servers ...!!

 

L2J one is good for low rate servers and have good stable !!

 

Well you have to choose :)

In my opinion:

1)in l2emu i love //admin panel ;D,it is  the best of all.and it is good pack

 

BUT

 

2)in l2jfree you can do everything and the most important when you will decide to add custom items or npc for example buffers,gmshops,epic,dynasty or whatever you want,it will be easier.:D believe me i have tried all of them.....i must say and l2jarchid is good too but finally i stay and work on my l2jfree server.

I've spent alot of time on l2j and wondering if it'll be worth it to start all over again with l2emu or l2jfree.

Well , The BIG Differences Are Some Kinda Invisible To Players..

 

Now , There Are Other Small Differences..

 

For Example. L2J Is a A Pure Lineage 2 Emulator. Just Some Little Modifications. Such as TvT Event.. And Others..

 

Now.. About L2 Emu , L2 Emu Has Many Custom Modifications. Such as Stucksubs , CTF , Dm , banking systems  , Buffers , Shops , Gatekeepers .. ( L2J Has a Core Buffer Too. )

And Yes , As Cobra Said It's Good for pvp servers. but its unstable.

 

L2JFree.. It's Good. Really Good. But It Needs Some Fixes , That Are Fucking Disturbing.. >.<

Also , It Doesn't Have So Much Custom Modifications. But It Has a Bigger Support..

 

Whatever. I Suggest You L2J. For Me It's The Best.

L2J basen on GNU license same like L2Jfree etc.

 

Btw i preffer L2Jfree too  :)

Nop. L2J Is a LEGAL Emulator Of Lineage 2.

 

But As Far as I Know , Every Little Change That Is Made Client SIde Is Illegal. Using Hosts With L2authd i think is illegal too.

 

about , Server Side Changes , I'm Not Sure.

 

But The Pack Itself is Legal
