Hello, MaxCheaters community,

We are pleased to officially announce the development of our new Lineage II project:

MightyProject

MightyProject will be an Interlude Mastered server, developed on a modern game engine and technical foundation while preserving the gameplay, atmosphere, and identity that made Interlude one of the most memorable chronicles of Lineage II.

Our objective is not to transform Interlude into something unrecognizable. We aim to modernize and improve the overall experience while remaining faithful to the original spirit and scope of the chronicle.

Our Vision

MightyProject will feature:

  • Authentic Interlude-oriented gameplay supported by a modern engine.
  • Retail quests, carefully simplified to provide a smoother and more enjoyable progression experience.
  • Reworked classes and skills, focused on improving balance and strengthening class identity without departing from Interlude gameplay.
  • A refined progression system that respects players’ time without removing the sense of achievement.
  • Original development decisions rather than copied features, systems, concepts, or branding from other projects.

We are not interested in creating another server filled with random features simply because they are currently popular. Every system introduced into MightyProject must have a clear purpose and fit naturally within the overall Interlude experience.

A Serious and Familiar Team

Many people within the community are already familiar with us and understand the level of commitment we bring to our projects.

We know that trust cannot be built through promises alone. It must be earned through consistent development, professional management, transparency, and long-term support.

MightyProject is being approached as a serious and sustainable project—not as a temporary server or a quick attempt to follow current market trends.

Our ambition is to help revive the European Lineage II private-server community and contribute to a healthier market where players have more than one or two serious projects to choose from.

We believe there is still room for a professionally developed European-based server that respects the identity of Interlude while offering the stability, presentation, and quality expected from a modern project.

Partnership Opportunities

We are open to discussions with serious investors and professional partners who understand the vision and long-term potential of MightyProject.

Investment partnerships will not alter the project’s established gameplay identity. Core decisions concerning balance, progression, and game design will remain under the responsibility of the development team.

Potential partners may contribute in areas such as:

  • Marketing and media strategy
  • Public relations and advertising
  • Community growth
  • Customer support
  • Operational and promotional activities

Every partnership will be discussed professionally, with clearly defined responsibilities, expectations, and boundaries.

MightyProject is being created with one clear objective: to deliver a modern, polished, and sustainable Interlude experience without losing the character of the original game.

More information regarding development progress, features, testing phases, media content, and the official roadmap will be shared as the project moves forward.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, worked with us, or followed our previous activities within the community.

This is only the beginning.

MightyProject

Is this a client built in unreal engine 5 or what ? I'm confused. Or is it a backend project ? Whatever it is good luck, may it be as "mighty" as its name !

Hello guys,

There isn't much information to share yet regarding the project. We've been working on it for the past few months with the goal of creating something unique and truly different.

Over the years, I've seen countless projects with the same features repeated over and over again. This time, we're aiming to build something solid and unlike anything players have seen before.

Since many of you have been asking about Unreal Engine 5, I'd like to clear that up. Building something on UE5 requires a very large team and a lot of resources to accomplish properly. Right now, we can't say anything regarding UE5. Maybe in the future, who knows?

Tzelal is a real life friend of mine. I've known him for many years, and he's a great guy. Right now, he's looking for people who genuinely want to be part of this project. The team is working 20+ hours a day, every single day. I'm often on calls with them, watching their progress and seeing everything they're creating. So, if anyone is wondering what's happening behind the scenes, my answer is simple, something amazing.

I know many of you have been asking about features and other details, but we don't want to spoil anything just yet. There is still a lot of work to be done, and we'd rather reveal things when they're ready. Once everything is in the state we want, we'll start releasing sneak peeks.

If you'd like to join the project, feel free to send Tzelal a private message so you can go through an interview. Please don't waste his time, or yours, if you're not genuinely interested.

Now, I'd like to make a few things clear.

No, we're not making another generic server with the same old features and the same old engine that you've seen for years. Our goal is to build something completely different, something that players haven't experienced before.

And no, we're not going to give up on development. We work every day, and we keep pushing forward even when some challenges seem difficult. We're committed to making this project the best it can be.

That's all for now. There will be much more to share once we're ready to show it.

Thanks for your time, everyone.

Elaborate on what do you mean by "Modern game engine"

Hello guys,

As you can understand I don't want to share yet many information regarding the project while it is under heavy development stage, I can understand your curiosity about  "What might be" however think it like a secret sauce from a restaurant that does not actually share the recipe from it, but of course once we have something in our hands we will provide any logical information.

If you are interested that much you can always take a look in our discord: https://discord.com/invite/mightyproject

Hello there,

No it is not Unreal Engine 5, well for this we will need some good budget and a skilled team based on UE5.

Thank you looking foward seeing you playing in our project soon, and trust me it will be mighty!

Hello there,

Correct, it will be a server, but not just any server as everyone is thinking; we have different kind of approach.

Hopefully not another stupid Interface.

Hey there,
No, it will not just be another interface; only Gen Z approaches their servers that way.

So, I'm not one of them no worries.

Well good luck to your server, I hope it succeeds, the community needs a good server cause currently there's none decent enough. All of them are rehashing of the same old gameplay ideas.

If you find a gen z  who knows what l2 is, I will give you 50 euro. We should let this game rest.

Trust the process: spin up 10 agents and build it in a few weeks, and sell it for a million dollars with anti cheat software included. E-Global made  it  possible, and now I can point and click as fast as lighting.

im pretty sure ive seen many messiahs bring "the best project of our lives" only for it to rise and fall. This conversation has been recycled over and over again. But who knows? Maybe one day, after 30 years, we lll finally get a decent project that doesnt bring back the same old gameplay ideas.

Then some russians, argentinians, and brazilians will enter the game and cry about how different the gameplay is from the original Lineage 2 game, and then "bb, dead trash server."

After that, the admin will recycle the files or sell them for 5k, make a new project based on Interlude, and everyone will be happy again.

Hello friend,

I can promise you there is admins 18-19 years old currently having servers arround but I dont want to expose them, there is no reason I dont need your 50 euros that is for sure, Also i dont understand the translation that you use to answers me for the e-global part, but I will answer you based on what you did answer me.

You say trust the process, that is right approach and good spirit however when you go to speak with a developers, the first thing they will mention you is what is budget for this, now even going to a trunkey server build with the current engines that available in the market they will say you 20k almost based on something that is already in here, Imagine when you ask them to build from zero something that does not exists what is the budget requirment.

Example: image.png.361c466d0e1ea6b36ff32deea30056d9.png This is only to have 1-3 developers supporting you with 8 hours of work,  image.png.d71bd72e77d64eb0c331854416ef219c.pngThis is to build something that already exists.

So please, if you don't have knowledge, don't drop bombs like trust the procces stuff because otherwise, you was already working and making something similar, to E-global now. But I can promise you if we will have enough budget we will go for something similar soon.

Actually I was genuinely surprised when I was in Thira, Hellas. I was at the bar at the hotel with my laptop. And the bartender was a young guy like 22-23. He asked what I was doing n i said Lineage (the proper way) but he was confused. Then i said Line-Age. It's popular in Hellas!! Then he was like nooo wayyyy wowww i used to play that couple years ago then i had to start work and stopped!! It was super cool i never met someone or a younger person that played it lol

I think L2scripts Bonux build is decently priced actually. It's the only modern project that isn't complete slop and has competent active developer (b4 someone says ahhhh kurva BUT MY AI IS BETTER - ya sure keep on opening your 10 player chatgpt servers uwu). 10k initiation is low considering the amount of headache and time you save.

    • I just found it funny that you reversed the reverse engineer champions. They won't like this for sure.    Anyway, the project vision is very good it is aligned with what the players need and want something that both e-global and l2reborn has failed to provide. These are stable projects, they are not good "games". And players play "games" they don't play "projects".  When no good "games" exist, they flock towards good "projects". Lineage 2 private scene has produced decent projects the last years, but no decent "game". I hope you are the first ones to do so.   Generally there are two axis that Lineage 2 needs to evolve on. Modern gaming concepts and the need to respect the aging player's time. So far, most projects treat these aspects as taboo, they seem so afraid to deviate from what they call "true" Lineage 2. But the reality is that times change, you can't stay static forever, you have to evolve. NCSoft failed, they are not paving the way no more. It is us now, the collective community that have to pave our own pathways. WoW has went the same way, private projects took initiative because the company (while not failed) could not steer the game towards what players want and need in 2026.    For that reason I believe your project is going towards the right direction. The four keystones listed in the vision is what I believe is the community really needs but clearly doesn't understand it wants, because noone so far has give them a glimspe of what is beyond their retail-like garden.    I personally don't respect projects like reborn and e-global. As "games", they are simply trash, regardless of their high professionalism as endeavors. They lack innovation, they lack creativity, they are simply good software products,
    • Giving up has never been part of my mindset. I respect projects like Reborn and E-Global they've earned their reputation. But every successful project started with people saying it would fail. If everyone gave up because there was competition, nothing new would ever exist. Skepticism is completely fair, and I'm not asking anyone to blindly believe in promises. Judge us by what we release, not by assumptions. That's exactly why we're taking our time instead of rushing something unfinished. At the end of the day, time will tell. I'd rather try to build something different and fail than never try at all.
    • Good luck beating projects like reborn eglobal and other crap l can bet you will give up after 1 year or first grand opening after online drops😁  l am very sceptical if honestly, at least run test server first or make something to show 🙂
    • Dunno, I have a friend who's really good at reverse engineering, so I don't really see a reason for anyone to be mad about it. At the end of the day, if someone has the skills and knowledge to do something, that's just part of the scene.
    • O boy are the russians gonna get mad now that you connected to their client 😛
