Runtime error

Hello everyone and good day 👋😁,

can someone help me with this issue

i build source without any errors

but when i put .jar files in libs wp-gameserver.jar , wp-loginserver.jar and then open .bat files


i get this in StartGameServer.bat

and this in StartLoginServer.bat

I set everything correctly in the Environment System

Java Version: Java 8
and i'm using OpenJDK 8.0.372.7
File Version: WolfPack I bought it from L2fortune in 2017 (High Five)

Make sure that you compiled it using the correct java version (i guess it's 1.8)

This is what puzzles me because I am using jdk 1.8 and I used it from Oracle and this error appeared to me and I changed it to OpenJDK and this error appeared to me as well.

no, I replaced the jar and the server is already Shutdown.

Open eclipse -> window -> preferences -> java -> installed jres -> add openjdk if you didn't already.

then right click to project -> properties -> java build path -> double click JRE System Library -> change to open JDK.

then right click to build.xml -> run as -> external tools configurations -> JRE tab -> Separate JRE -> select the openjdk one -> apply -> run.

Also make sure that your JAVA_HOME environment variable points to the openjdk bin path

watch this on the part of the eclipse configuration, its for acis but its the same principal

make sure ALL the server related jars are build in same jdk, check worst case this method in geodata is actually there.

i guess you are using a new eclipse version. Unfortunately eclipse trolled hard on that part, jdk8 is an LTS version not supported by new ides. Go to eclipse website and download like 2021 version or something.
