How to detected whether players used bot program?

i means just detected bot program on server side but dont kick players.then i can do somthing for bot players..

i used vanganth's IL pack and checked his source in CliExt.cpp

CCliExt::HandleCheckSum() 

 

The checksum function can be used to detect whether the player is using a bot program?

Yes, try getting active anticheat license, it has protections against bots, packet sniffers etc.

Yes get activeanticheat, but never close your server because he will make u pay for unused license time to use the license ever again, and better hope you don't find any bugs with the anticheat because the dev will tell you the bug doesn't exist even when you provide video proof or show him over teamviewer, and after fighting for weeks for him to acknowledge the bug exists, he still won't fix it 😄

:pepe-sus:its not a bug.. its a feature

 

but if you like strix telling you to "fuck off" and talk to you like you are a trash or pay him any price is on his mind at the time is not better. although while he charges services like changing ip

smartguard the worst case has this features for free and he works on automatation, the only problem is you never find him after you pay him, i remember he didnt reply to me since 2017 on a critical matter until i asked something else in 2020

so it is what it is... l2servers pay alot of $$$ for alot of shit

yeah they all shit that's for sure, i could forgive literally everything wrong with AA if it wasn't for that license bullshit

 

for those who don't understand what i mean by that

 

i opened a server with AA, closed after 3 months, 6 months later we went to re-open, AA wanted us to pay the 6 months of license which we didn't use, or he wouldn't activate license for our new server

 

he couldn't understand why that's a problem, said it's standard business practice lol

could you give me some hints?rly thx...
