Trance Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 (edited) You can try to emulate it by enabling 32-bit support via the IIS Manager - if not installed yet do so via PowerShell. Dunno if it works but it worth trying. Edited June 29, 2022 by Trance

gl0ryd4ys Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Sorry for necro but: You can run almost any l2 client if you go to executable properties and change emulation settings from "fast" to "strict" on Compatibility tab. Doing so with my mac m1 - works fine. The only problem is anti-cheat. Also, be aware that if you run l2 process through some kind of launcher, you need to apply compatibility settings to that launcher.

Hey @gl0ryd4ys, thanks for sharing this, I´m also trying to run this on my m1 pro macbook, sadly is the only computer I´ve and I really come back to this damn game :D. So, I´ve a couple of questions please.. - Do you run L2 though parallels with a ARM base Windows ISO? - Do you solve the anti-cheat issue? - Which servers do you recommend? Yes, I'm using the official image of W11 arm that parallels installs by default. I'm not bothered about ACs, e.g. when I see Smart-Guard I just ignore the server. Frost (EU off servers) and whatever is used on official NA servers is probably easier to get around. The latter sometimes allow me to play without any extra moves, I didn't figure out the problem though. You can play on Japanese official servers with no problem. And I'm playing on elmorelab
Barbisold Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 (edited) Hey there! Unfortunately, Lineage 2 is incompatible with ARM-based Windows devices, as it is designed for x86/x64 architecture. However, if you have an x86/x64 Windows device, you can easily run Lineage 2 by installing it like any other Windows program. If you don't have cheap Windows key yet, you can check out Reddit. Good luck! Edited May 4, 2023 by Barbisold
