We are excited to announce the expansion of our team for the remastered Essence chronicle. Our goal is to adopt a classic, long-lasting playstyle while still maintaining the legacy of the gold-style. With that in mind, we are thrilled to introduce the following members who will help us achieve this vision:

• Electronica: Our new Community Manager, Electronica brings a wealth of experience in community management to our team. He will represent the community and ensure that player needs and concerns are addressed to the Developer and other staff members. Electronica will also assist with communication and other aspects of the server.
• Psy: A Game Master with experience in various custom private servers, Psy will help ensure fair gameplay and assist with dispute resolution. He has a deep understanding of the server and its customizations.
• Techno: Another Game Master with experience in Interlude and all the latest chronicles, Techno brings a passion for gaming to our team. He will work alongside Psy and House to monitor gameplay and help maintain a fair and enjoyable game environment for all players.
• House: Another Game Master, our seasoned veteran, House, has been part of the World of Lineage community since the official release of Chronical C3 in 2005. As a project manager in real life, he brings his organizational skills and attention to detail to our team. He will work closely with the Game Masters to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
• AskForMore: Our Community Helper, AskForMore, is a familiar face to many players. He knows the server inside out and is always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. He will continue to be an essential part of our team.

We are still looking for one more Game Master and two GM Helpers to join our team. Game Masters will be responsible for monitoring gameplay, resolving disputes, and ensuring a fair and enjoyable game environment. GM Helpers will assist the Game Masters with their duties and help monitor game activity.

Please note that while the website is nearly done, it's not completely finished yet. We are working hard to add the final touches and ensure that all the content and features are in place. However, we couldn't wait any longer to share it with all of you, so feel free to take a look and get a sneak peek of what's to come.
 

We kindly ask for your patience as we continue to refine the website and make it even better. Your feedback and suggestions are valuable to us, so if you come across any issues or have any ideas for improvement, please let us know.

The beta phase is right around the corner, and there are a few things you should know about the server's current status. Oh, and by the way, the grand opening is still over a month away.
 

• The economy is not yet complete – this includes drops, monsters, and their stats.
• The Special Craft system will replace the Misc Shop Harvana and will remove all items from Mantra Manager Wildbrand, except for the Refining System.
• Prices for D, C, and B-Grade are set, but the rest of the item prices are still under consideration.
• XP/SP Rates are confirmed.
• Classes are about 99% finalized. Aside from the extras that come with a gold-style server, we aim to keep everything mostly like the Interlude retail version. We've reduced the duration for most debuffs.
• We'll likely keep the NPC Buffer as is, but we're still undecided on a few minor details. The buff limit will stay at 24+4 Divine Inspiration and won't be altered.

On the whole, the server is operational but needs some fine-tuning in various areas. It should largely be free of bugs and offer a seamless gameplay experience.

Discord Moderator

• As a Discord Moderator, you'll work closely with administrators to address player feedback, reports, and concerns. You'll act as the Discord server's moderator.

GM Helper

• This position is straightforward, aimed to assist Game Masters in their duties. Please be advised that if you are a GM Helper, you cannot simultaneously play as a player with an alt account. Your primary responsibility will be handling in-game petitions. You can move up to become a Game Master from this position.

L2Gold Essence Participation Agreement

This document is not a legally binding contract but serves as an agreement to outline the roles, responsibilities, and expectations for Discord Moderators and GM Helpers participating in L2Gold Essence.
 

Article 1: Scope of Work
 

1.1 Discord Moderator Duties

• Enforce server rules and guidelines
• Monitor text and voice channels for inappropriate content
• Resolve conflicts among server members
• Assist with discord server events
• Track and immediately report critical issues to the Admin

1.2 GM Helper Duties

• In-game event management when needed
• Handle player queries and complaints via petitions
• Monitor in-game activities for rule violations
• Collaborate with the server admin to improve game mechanics and features
• Track and immediately report critical issues to the Admin

Article 2: Bonuses
 

2.1 Guaranteed Weekly Bonus

• If the Discord Moderator or GM Helper shows a consistent positive impact on the community and demonstrates care and respect for the server, a fixed weekly bonus may be established. This bonus will be provided on a weekly basis as long as the individual continues to meet the established criteria.

2.2 Activity Requirement

• The above bonuses, including the guaranteed weekly bonus, are contingent upon being active and useful for about ~6 hours a day. Inactivity or lack of usefulness may result in withholding of bonuses or termination.

Article 3: Confidentiality

• Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding server operations and player information.

We're shifting our focus away from implementing as much as possible from the Essence gameplay. Instead, the server will now be Interlude, but using the Essence client.

 

This should be good news for everyone.

 

The Beta phase will most likely take place in November, with the grand opening to follow shortly after.
