Is there any way to get rid of screen brightness issue when L2 client is minimized?

I know there is a way to fix this using an external program, but what about client editing?

File: l2.ini

Find lines ( in 2 places or more, search by names ):

Brightness=0.800000
Contrast=0.700000
Gamma=0.800000

Change to:

Brightness=0.500000
Contrast=0.500000
Gamma=1.000000

Save.

Try playing with the values until you get the perfect result.

I think  you misunderstood the whole thing.

The issue isn't just game brightness. The issue is that brightness is increased across whole OS UI, as long as client is running.

I do not prefer decreasing client brightness, so that does not help.

I got  correctly... It helps me, helps my friends too. I also use this method for editors when minimizing.
