[Guide]How to edit the laoding picture[IL-Tested]

Im gonna learn you how to edit the loading picture :o

It's verry easy ;)

-:- Programs You will need -:-

-:- The GUIDE -:-

1. Download the above files and extract them to a location of your choice , for example desktop.

 

 

2. Select the .utx file that you want to take from it the textures,[Textures are in D:\Program Files\Lineage II\systextures] , for example i ll take l2font-e.utx

 

 

3. Copy and paste it on the extracted folder.

 

 

4. Drag and drop it on l2decrypt and wait till it says that it finish successful with lime green words.

 

 

5. A file with appear like this L2font-e.clear.utx , run the l2 tool and select it by pressing the "..." button next to utx.

 

 

6. Then when you opened it click on button "Line2 -> UnrealED".

 

 

7. A window will appear like this Huh?utx?HuhHuh , Press ok.

 

 

8. Another window will appear that you need to type name , name it:  l2font-e.unreal and press ok.

 

 

9. Let it till it shows a window with HuhHuh , then close it.

 

 

10. Install the unreal program.

 

 

11. When you installed it go to C:\UnrealEngine2Runtime\System and find the file UnrealEd.

 

 

12. Right click on it and send to desktop to create a shortcut.

 

 

13. Now run the shortcut you have just created.

 

 

14. On the window "Textures" go to File===>Open===>and open the l2font-e.utx.

 

 

15. Find the textures you want and extract from each the sp and ori (Sometimes there isnt ori or sp...In that case you take only the one it exists.)

 

 

16. Ok open them with photoshop both and on ori change the colour to anything you want and save them. The ori you save it as dxt1 1 alpha and the sp dxt3.

 

17. Go at Skins section and EXPORT loading02-e

 

18. Edit it in photo shop like u want :)

 

18. Import the loading02-e.dds edited

 

19. Save L2font-e.utx

 

20. Thats the most important part!!We drag it, and drop it on l2decrypt.exe It will open. Now, do you remember what i told you before, ehm... 30 minutes? (This is the time it took me from the 1st step to this Tongue) Well, for you 5' before (you are reading, i'm creating...). REMEMBER THAT DAMN NUMBER. Don't start asking <<Was it 111 or 121...?>>, DO IT, copy paste again the file in another folder, and decrypt again to be sure (Not on the same genious, it will overight the existing one). Enter the number, and press enter... ouf, i hope you got a file named xxx.crypt.utx, RIGHT??? x.x I hope, i hopeeeeeeeee. If you got that, delete the real one, and rename the xxx.crypt.utx into xxx.utx and paste it into your client (from the path you got it).

at part 19 i cant save it...unrealD gets me error.it says u cant save with spaces something like that plz help me!!!

you have to save it in textures folder... the textures folder in the Unreal Folder... i got the same error but GrisoM told me there was a topic with the same problem
