I do not understand you people. If you had test it before posting, but it would not 'work' what non-reversable thing could happen?

Anyway, yes you will be ok.

try to convert in notepad++ ...its unrestorable, and this is why this section exist for questions that others know. what if he had a test and he broke it would you fix it afterwards?

 

about the topic this file had non utf-8 characters when you tried to save it or the file its self wasnt set as utf-8

this happens alot with russian packs always work with utf-8 if you want to see their language (or even translate it).
