Hey guys, i want to make a discussion about the low rate servers.Who is sick of seeing low rates severs with no retail policys,who thinks that if they make a original retail server with all the modes like they were years ago,would they be crouded?or they will just die cause of inactivity?

I think we should blame our selves for this bacteria is the creators of private servers who are in mistake or we the players who perfer a easier low rate server instead of super hardcore low rate server? I think we are the one who are in mistake.

Player community is very fragmented. Someone would play only Interlude hi-rate with lot of customs, someone would play only retail-like H5 lowrate...

Lineage 2 is dead in Europe and North America. The game is only popular in Russia, South Korea and Latin America to a lesser extend. All the servers you see "populated" these days they are either Russian ones with fake online counters or full of bots and stuff. I love lineage 2 but its just too old of a game right now.

There are still thousands of players in Europe but they're spread over hundereds of servers...

na is completely dead but majority of players are europeans or mexicans.. but i havent seen any gooks playing l2 tho but maybe they are on their gook servers which arent open to us

Guys im from greece,i dont know about those russians but we in our country when we wanted play fights we just jumped on some x1000+ but when we played low rate we never demanded to make something easier when its main concept is to be something hard,im real cancered of all that projects i dont care about activitys im just nervous of these guys wanna make money over l2

There are few strictly no-donate servers (for example our L2 Shrine), but most players prefer pay2win servers full of bots...

L2 shrine looked nice but that unlimited boxing i didnt like it(not a real problem though) and the gracia i would perfer it on c3 c4

Play classic. EU server is like 5 dollars per month.

Classic is basically L2 remade from scratch by NCSoft (Innova is the EU publisher). It has a few additional features that didn't exist in older chronicles (interface, clan system, cloaks, a few skills are a bit different, a few mechanics are also different - reflect works against archers, olympiad arenas etc.). Judging from Classic's popularity though, they're generally seen in a positive way. 

 

I can't get into more detail regarding competition and express an opinion about the gameplay, since I haven't tried it yet myself. That's all I can help you with.

Thats the original official from NCSoft?

Innova/4game is a Russian company that has bought the rights and currently serves as the EU publisher since ~2010. So, it's an official server, but not published by NCWest which is the NA Publisher.
