i want to make an npc that attacks monsters that come in range, i know there is a

<clan_list>

<clan>EXAMPLE CLAN</clan>
</clan_list>
 
but is there an enemy list or something that would make an npc "want to hit" a certain clan??

any ideas?

You can always code it on the core and add an enemy list thing.

Something that like clan lists, search for specific clan monsters and instead of taking target on player attacking them, take target on the monster itself and attack it.

Dont know, but clan lists worked in previous versions. but there are always ppl that drop some features instead of disabling them. but i think this clan is working in some case. go to primeval isle and watch there. some t-rex are going to attack other dinosaurs if i remember correct.

 

the other way making npcs attack monsters is using them as guards. place some aggressive monsters with an aggro range of 1 so they wont attack players, but guards will attack them and they will fight back ^^ xD
