Actually I found L2Server was pretty, specially better post god

as the mechanics get more complex the code gets uglier, thats a fact. But with my experience I know that you can sacrifice ugly but efficient code with slower but prettier and much more readable with minimal difference on live scenarios.

I have an idea... lets get the packets out of the L2JServer's source, and put them into the MMOCORE as a separate project. NCSoft can do nothing more than watching how L2JServer grows.

There is a bunch of ugly and non efficient code within L2J unfortunatly, shit that were made early on.

This exist everywhere, when you first start everything is well organized and follow a nice structure, when the things get more comblex and jump from 1 thing to the other.. the design of what u do gets uglier..

no only in coding..

Go make an animation,, use 3 keyframes.. beautiful, soft... add 2 objects... 6 keyframes add 100 objects with linear and berzier animations... its get fucked up so u sacrifice beauty for the "working part".

Thats why in design and in coding the only good reader is the one who made it. cause he know that its shit but its his own shit

The biggest problem is the datapack and it was separated for a reason.

It use to have another domain and forum if you remember l2jdp.com.

The main reason that NC is after L2J is because of the datapack, we have most of the values equal to theirs, that way violates the copyrights so much, core is not problem at all.
