Help Drop Chance

Hello guys. Can someone please explain to me how to set the drop chance of mobs? I saw a post that gives this calculation: drop chance= 1.000.000/drop rate. But this is for 100%drop chance. What do I have to set it to if I want for example a 5%  or 10% drop chance?

I saw a guide that said that you had to divide that number (1.000.000 for 100% or as you said 50.000 for 5%) with the drop rate of your server to get the actual drop chance that you need. My drop rate is x35.

Ohh well, then yeah. That's why it's better to use drop rate 1, you have full control over drop and useless items/mats will not drop, that much.
