What Has Happened To Priv Owners?

Hello

 

i have been looking for new server to start to play after a long time of not playing l2.

 

i have never had maxcheaters user because i dont see need of posting i only look for priv servers here.

 

 

i was first going to l2eglobal it looked very promising but it turned out the owners are assholes.

i then looked at lineage2forever.. joined and it is horrible.. and after reading about owners being fake and not from old good l2forever i understand why i hated it.

 

i then started to look into l2mid but not even that server seems to have good feedback...

 

tbh the only new servers i can find here that sounds good and has no bad feedback and owners dont sound like idiots is l2classic and l2ark.

 

but what happened to l2 priv owners?!?! 

they used to act professional and not childish..

 

also good servers used to get good comments here and now all i find here are bad... is that because all servers are bad now a days?

 

it is sad to see good game like l2 is dying and not because of old game but because of bad priv server owner.

i really hope that l2classic and l2ark will be good i will test both but if they fail then i guess i have got my question answer.

last weeks i tried l2forever l2asot and they are both bad.. to be fair asot is better than l2forever that is = to any l2j even worse.

i tried l2damage it was actually good for high rate but 9000x is not that serious.. still better than l2forever :D hahaha

 

it should not be this hard to find good servers

I've also posted earlier that server owners now a days seem to announce their estimated player counts which are insane.

Another server which I won't mention the name of, has estimated 3900+ players... there's probably not even that many playing Lineage Interlude anymore. 

So basically they begin their project with lies, makes absolutely no sense to me.

also i agree hahaha 3900+ players on server and is not open is insane and big lie.

Well, nowadays nobody really plays Lineage II (botting does not count as playing, btw). That's why people who still decided to stick with L2 do not make servers for players, they make servers for something else. I myself was involved in a high-rate, perfectly balanced DN-type l2j (l2jfree-based) server (these were the C4-IL times; I quit L2 server hosting shortly after kamael), created purely to gain access to player email/social net/etc accounts (no keyloggers or malware: just saving the account password as plaintext and then using it). There are many things you can do with an email, username and password (as well as clan info, chat logs and online times). My associates would check various low rate servers, such as SupremeL2 C5 during the night (in the player's time zone), funnel all valuable items through a prebuilt throwaway account freight/cwh/drop+pick/equal trade scheme and would later sell them.

 

The possibilities are endless. And you don't need for the player to play on your server, only to create an account.

 

On a more related note, have you noticed nobody makes proper antibots anymore? All, regardless of name, are just cosmetic software, designed to show players that the server owners care about unfair play. That is another of many lies owners tell today. Anyone, including people who have 0 clue how their botting software works, but have botted for at least a few months can easily bypass them. Sure, if you never botted and decide to start today, it will look tough. That's how owners want it.

 

Because if you stop the bots, who will go to play on your "12 online, including offline shops" server?

Ever considered moving up from all the shitty free packs of Interlude of High 5? Those 2 clients were good at their respective time, anything else past that is just an abuse of decency which we all know, that's gone too. Nowadays it's just a e-war of who can get the most cash in a month before they wipe/close the server regardless of player base.

Stop playing the same old & outdated crap that every 15yo can do now with all the existing packs and shares all over the forum. And the thing that bothers the most is that they think they are "developers".
As I said in a previous post regarding these type of issues, clean MxC of all the trash packs/projects and scammers/"devs" and we will have once again a community!

Well  because nowdays most  Owners are kids with a budget of 50-100 euros and they want to gain some  easy money from it.

My experience in playing l2 forever is horrible also, i spent like 3 days  of farming some sets and i got jailed  for 2 weeks because i intented to sell my char =)
