Discussion Profession: Buffer - Opinions Please!

Hello guys,

 

I've just recently made a mod and I wish to know what do you think about it.

Seeing the example of other MMORPGs I've decided to make "Profession systems" in Lineage II too. The first profession I made is The Buffer. In my opinion it is a good way to avoid all the actual & boring patterns. (slow leveling & dualboxing buffer secondaries OR the boring NPC Buffers)

 

The profession system works like in any other MMORPG (Forsaken World, Guild Wars 2, Aion) where you have to level up your profession to make it more efficient.

Is it like npc buffer, but to be able to use higher level buffs you need to spend(use Buff Me or Buff Pet button) some time with lower ones?

kinda. Buff time is increased for registered buffs. It is level-based. Also the buff/dance-song slot is level-based. In the end 20+4 buffs + 12 dance/song slots.

I believe the idea can work, only if you will make some other way to "level up". Players should be doing something, ONLY to be getting the level up. Now if it costs adena, players will just have to click 100 times and they will have their level, doesnt look like fun.

For example:

- Kill specific monsters which drop specific spell books

- Quests for mages of each race, you gain reputation by doing some tasks and you can buy buffs of certain race

- You gain extra skill similar to Spoil, to drain Spell Points from monsters. Lava monsters give some fire skills, Angels some holy skills, something like that

 

The way it works now, i dont see the point.

It is working with "Buffer Coin" - which is dropped by monsters. The chance won't be high. In the comment of video I told that I am Admin character and I'm restoring my mana artificially.

 

IMO the Buffer Coin + the heavy mana cost is more then enough. But I anyway will test on a beta period, then if its not sufficient restriction I will add recharge too.

I don't care about noobs. I'm doing my server & my mods for my friends. I'm just sharing videos to evolve my ego. Wasn't it enough obvious?

Look, you filthy mud blood. As I see you don't understand that I am a feeling creature too. Throwing your negative energies towards me makes me depressed... I just really cannot understand why is it so hard to praise me?! "Oh, Rex. You're good. Here is a cookie!" or you could have said "Awesome! How do I add this to my server?" - right, it would have been the best, because in this case I could reject you. It would be the ultimate pleasure for me.

 

But no... you just throwing your critism into my face. I am sure if it was a pattern GM Shop/Buffer/GGK now you would literally licking my ass.

 

Anyway unfortunately I have to state that you cannot even use your brain. Then let me enlighten you.

 

People come to MXC in order to be praised, because they have serious selfesteem issues. On MXC every mod is being praised. Why can't you understand that simple unwritten rule?! Why is it so hard to say a "oh, its nice!" or just have a nice cup of shut the fuck up?

 

So on MXC when I say "opinions please" it means I want to be praised, not critised. You would have known this if you used your brain.

 

Then next time please think twice before you hurt someone's feelings.

Why do you think that I'm trolling? Is it so hard to face with the truth that you're a vicious, lonely, disgraced filthy creature who does not care about other people's feeling? Just admit it.
