yxas Posted August 21, 2015 Share Posted August 21, 2015 Hi guys. i have a little problem with itemname-e.dat file.. im trying to add valakas/lindvior weapons on interlude weapongrp inserted fine but something is wrong with the itemname-e when i try to encode and save it displays an error that it failed to save the file.. ive tried several ways but still no luck. Could anyone help me out with this? heres the weapons itemname-e: 99956 Valakas Buster When a critical attack occurs, increases Max HP, Max MP, Max CP and critical chance. Silences the target and has possibility of reflecting the skill back on the target. Enhances damage to target during PvP. -1 0 0 0 99957 Valakas Cutter During a critical attack, decreases one's P. Def and increases de-buff casting ability, damage shield effect, Max HP, Max MP, Max CP, and shield defense power. Enhances damage to target during PvP. -1 0 0 0 99959 Valakas Shaper Increases Max MP, Max CP, Atk. Spd., MP regen rate, and the success rate of Mortal and Deadly Blow from the back of the target. Silences the target when a critical attack occurs and has Vampiric Rage effect. Enhances damage to target during PvP. -1 0 0 0 99960 Valakas Slasher Increases critical attack success rate/power, MaxHP, MaxCP and damage inflicted during PvP. Inflicts extra damage on critical attack. Reflects debuff attack back on enemy. -1 0 0 0 99962 Valakas Thrower Increases Max MP/Max CP and decreases re-use delay of a bow. Slows target when a critical attack occurs and has Cheap Shot effect. Enhances damage to target during PvP. -1 0 0 0 99953 Valakas Dual Cutter During a critical attack, decreases one's P. Always you need to open with administor and ist better in last line to make one line clear and then save it on tour desktop...try this way and write if its solved... SweeTs Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 (edited) Depends on which L2FileEdit you are using, take a look at the code. Old file edit uses empty rows, while another one " a,a,.\\0\0 " or whatever. So, if you are using old file edit, you have too much info (row mismatch) or opposite, you miss that "a,a \\". I hope you got the point. In short, the structure doesn't match. Copy random line and edit the id, name and it's desctiption and you will be fine. Also, wrong section, as always..
