Help Checking Skill

Hi devs,

I want to known "how is it", how to that skill work, so where to check it? I come to l2jserver.com but there is many source codes around ~.~

 

For example: i want to see skill "Cancel" from nuker class, where to go?

If you mean the mechanism behind skills, you got skillhandlers, and l2skill types (maybe they're dropped on latest L2J I didn't see). You can also see doCast and useMagic methods.

 

If you mean the data, then it's on datapack, under XMLs.

 

If your idea is to edit the behavior of Cancel, then it's a skillhandler. Skillhandlers are stored in datapack since Freya, I think. Before that they were part of core side (IL chronicle for example).
